Hands up, who's interested in more than one remaster from Bethesda?
Well, that might be on the cards, with at least two big Bethesda games from the Xbox 360 era reportedly getting the remastered treatment. The first of these is Oblivion Remastered, which is the one we've been hearing about a lot over the past few days, and it'll supposedly be coming out at some point next week. Very soon indeed, then!
Another one that's getting talked about is Fallout 3 Remastered. This week, apparent insider NateTheHate told people on social media that a Fallout 3 remaster is "planned" but that we shouldn't expect to see it anytime soon.
Now, if you cast your mind back to the biggest leak in Xbox history that took place a couple of years ago, it was mentioned in the leaked documents that both an Oblivion remaster and a Fallout 3 remaster were in the works.
We didn't take it that seriously at the time because Phil Spencer mentioned how old the leaked documents were, but now that Oblivion Remastered is turning out to be the real deal, it would make sense if Fallout 3 Remastered is real too.
At the time, Fallout 3 Remastered was listed to be coming out much later than Oblivion Remastered, which also aligns with the idea that we could be waiting a long time until Fallout 3 gets the treatment. No other Bethesda remasters were mentioned in those documents, although some of the games only had codenames rather than full titles.
So, there we go! It sounds like Bethesda does have more than one remaster in the works at the moment, and here's hoping it might be more than just two. Which Bethesda games deserve the remaster treatment in your opinion?
