@Benjamin yea avowed looked poor. Overall very just okay showcase. They did not wow us at all. At least star field made up for it after. But damn xbox can just never figure it out. I'll keep being the long time fan and customer I am though. But far as presentations and putting out information they juat can't shine.

@LtSarge I give it a C as well. Not very impressive. People thought playstation showcase was wack and I thought it was better than this. Summer game fest was also better. I can't think of one thing that really had me like "damn wow" at this showcase.

So this is excluding the Statfield Direct , which I loved. So just the Xbox Showcase. I give it a C. All the playstation fan boys thought playstations showcase sucks. To me it was good. Everyone thought it primed xbox to crush and destroy with thier showcase....they did not. I'm an Xbox fan, long time, will absolutely continue to be. But....

This showcase was WORSE than playstations and summer game fast. I give it a C. Really underwhelming. But I knew it would be. However Starfield looked magically. I think it will be great and that will make Xbox year great. So hope is still there.

@Moonglow not sure if you watched the direct but....yea....I hate kind of grading and comparing, but it's what everyone does with these. Playstation showcase and summer game fest were both better than xbox show. Now it all comes down to Starfield as we all knew. Stanfield will make or break everything.

@Moonglow it's not that I'm not excited. It's more like fool me once shame on you, twice on me kind of thing. Seems here many of as xbox fans are jaded. And I think rightfully so. I'm still a huge fan of Xbox. Some incredible experiences and memories xbox has given me over the generations. But it's just they haven't delivered on the games this Gen and arguably last generations. So even of the show is fire, and I hole it is, still the games may never come out or won't even be good when they do. I'll be tuned though. Hoping with low confidence.

@Deljo I'm worried that they will blow it. Huge xbox fan but they just drop the ball do often. Especially with first party. But there's always a chance of small victories.

@Somebody yea I was so excited for this. But I didn't even play it for an hour, gave up on it. I pretty much disliked everything about it in that short time. Wasn't what I thought it would be.

Way back when this was supposed to be a Series X launch title, it was the one I was most excited for. When it finally came out years later or whatever, it was not my cup of tea at all. I didn't last 15 minutes in this game before I quit and deleted it. I just expected something different. The combat sucked, controls were wonky and the puzzles I couldn't get. Major letdown for me.

@ChopperCampbell I just started it last night a whole year later. Really like it so far.

@Zoidpilot4 I'm one of the few who didn't think Playstation Showcase was bad. It wasn't fantastic but I thought it was decent. Anyways yes xbox has a chance here to get one up on Sony. Better be a lit show!

@Green-Bandit I'm surprised you made it through and actually beat it. I just gave up on the game yesterday. At first , I did t hate it. It was bad but not horrible. It just kept being annoying though and doesn't play well. So I finally tapped out. Although the AI is dumb. I actually would get killed very easily, it was frustrating. For me the game was actually hard. I only played solo, maybe with a team it's better. Regardless though I'm not playing this again. I've lost a lot of faith in xbox first party. I'm worried for sure but hope they find a way to make something wonderful.

I just gave up on it yesterday. I actually didn't hate it as much as everyone at first. The game is still bad though, and just yesterday I was frustrated and quit. Deleted the game. Sad how it failed so miserably. But it was a poorly made game , no way around it.

It's good news. I really want the deal to go through. I have my doubts, but I hope the deal goes through eventually world wide. I think xbox needs it. Playstation will always have thier cinematic movie style A+ games. That's what they specialize in, and that's what the industry accepted as what the highest level of game is. Xbox succeeds at other types of games, multi-player, 3rd party, indie, smaller titles, innovative.

Since the industry overall agrees with Sony that the "movie" games are what the greatest games are...then in order for Xbox to still do well, it needs something like the Activision deal. With that Xbox won't be shut out. So I hope it works out with the deal.

@UndyingInsurgent95 yea it's hard. I've played about 5 or 6 hours of it. I don't find it horrible. Even though it's wonky , has glitches and overall is NOT a good game. It's not good but I can get some very mild fun from it. I play solo and seem to die very easily surrounded my so many enemies that maybe co-op would help with. Everyone says the say is so dumb, which they are, but it's not translating into easy for me. I may still give it a few more tried but overall the game is poor and I'm probably done with it this month.

It has really lowered my expectations that xbox can ever deliver a 1st party amazing guy. I think it's going to be a system for indies, 3rd parties , and gamepass. Which is still fantastic in thise regards. However as far as releasing top their A+ first party games, I have no faith that will happen. I hope starfield is amazing but I don't think it will be after redfall.

@BrilliantBill hard to say though, spider man 2 and ff16 is about as big of games as it gets. Both coming this year for playstation. It's really all about Stanfield for this side of things. Gotta be wonderful.
