I don't care WHAT reviewers are saying. This is easily one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and I CANNOT wait to go see it. I love the Borederlands franchise, and every trailer I've seen looks like there is a lot from the games actually moved onto the screen. I also absolutely love trash, b-rate, bad sci-fi movies, so if this falls into that category I will STILL love it. Very much looking forward to this one!
I've played it off and on through the years. I quite enjoy it when I do, but I've got that disease that many gamers do these days where we start one game then jump jump jump to others. lol But I do go back to it every now and again, and I think still have an active subscription on my xbox. I don't think I ever turned it off. lol
Personally, I'd be happy if it just came to Gamepass ultimate, even if it never comes to console. Though I do love playing MMO's on consoles with controller support. That's how I play New World on my PC...with my Xbox controller. But one or the other or both, I'd be quite happy to give WoW a go if it ever comes to any form of Gamepass.
I saw this and went and bought one. My daughters and I all love Minecraft, and this would go just fine in the living room with out gaming peripherals, and keep a few drinks cold and at the ready for us. Can't wait for it to come in tomorrow!
So...Terraria...in space? Looks very similar in a lot of ways, but that sounds just fine to me as I love Terraria! Definitely going to give that one a try.
So, from watching the vid above, is this something of a third person isometric ARPG akin to Diablo and Path of Exile? If so, then I will definitely give this one a go, as that style of game is one of my top favorites. Or is it more of just a straight forward action game? It was kind of hard to tell from above.
@Kaloudz I believe the charts 70/30 split means in general between Sony/Microsoft. Sure, they maybe selling 2:1 at the moment, but the bigger overall picture shows one of Sony market dominance over Microsoft (per the chart). And it would take quite a while of selling at the 2:1 system difference to change that overall picture.
@GodofCapcom I wouldn't say CoD would be handicapped on the Switch at all. CoD ran fine on both the Wii and Wii U. The problem was the strained relationship between Actiblizzard/Nintendo. And while Nintendo systems may not be the biggest market for CoD games, there was obviously a big enough market and enough sales for them to put multiple games on previous Nintendo hardware, even though it was weaker than other hardware on the market at the time.
I don't see this as a bad strategy, though. Sony's whole argument against the deal is basically that it will lead to Microsoft dominance over all...our new Xbox Overlords, if you will. However, to highlight that Microsoft has really been the UNDERDOG as far as market share goes, going on 2 decades now, it shows that they are in no position to take over anything. Sony's brand is much bigger and stronger than Microsoft's is. That is a valid point to share against Sony's own arguments. Also, Sony continuing to refuse an the CoD offer from Microsoft to me just shows them as being petty and trying to force their own arguments over a solution presented by Microsoft/Activision. One party looks like they are trying to come to terms with everyone, the other just looks churlish, stubborn, and like they are trying to force their viewpoint to stay in place against evidence to the contrary.
Been playing for 3 or 4 hours now on the demo via GamePass. Got to the "end" of the demo area, and purchased it. I've been a Monster Hunter player since Tri on Wii. Played several other monster hunting style games like God Eater and Toukiden (which I've heard is made by the same people as Wild Hearts). I've taken my bow main love from MH and moved it over to trying that as my main weapon in Wild Hearts. So far it plays slower and a bit more methodical than the bow in MH, but its still great fun. I plan on fully enjoying this game when it comes out. From all the previews I've watched or seen from other MH style fans, this is a great game. Yes, its got some jank to it, but every new IP does in the beginning. But the overall experience and the HUNT itself is so engaging. I'm still trying to get use to the new building/karakuri aspect, but its a lot of fun so far.
I own Rise/Sunbreak twice already (on Switch and PC). And I'm now playing through Rise for a THIRD time on GamePass. I must say, it looks gorgeous on my Xbox Series X, and plays so smooth. I am having a blast all over again (but then again, I've been a MH fan since Tri on the Wii, and never looked back). Sad thing is, though...I'm still playing Bow main..again. I just love how good it feels in Rise; I don't really want to play using anything else until I get it maxed out. Then I'll probably move to using Hammer for a while (second favorite weapon). Rise is such a great game, and Sunbreak only makes it just THAT much better. Can't wait for the expansion to come to GamePass too, and with free updates coming for a while to go, this game is only getting better and better. Truly the very best MH has ever been for me!
So, this is something like the Nintendo "Family Plan" for NSO? If so, I'd gladly upgrade my Gamepass Ultimate subscription to this one, and my daughters can access the Gamepass on their laptops and we play together. Its not that much more expensive than current Gamepass Ultimate pricing, so sounds to me like it would be well worth the upgrade.

Re: Xbox Is Hosting An Exclusive Sale For Game Pass Members This Week
So, from the list above, this isn't so much a game sale for GamePass players, as it is a game DLC sale? I find that much less interesting, personally.
