@GeminiX53 I agree with this 100%. I think it has extremely devalued the worth of new games and the stigma is that Xbox users won’t buy games or play anything unless it’s on gamepass. True or not that is the perception of the Xbox community. I would say add them to the service after 1 year instead of killing the day 1 sales. Lower the price of gamepass per month and let new games stand on their own. Go back to making big new releases mean something

If the next xbox is some type of box that can play Xbox and pc games natively then what is the point of a dedicated Xbox. Especially if it’s going to be as expensive as we are being led to believe. The whole point of the console is to subsidize the price of entry and make it up in the long run with software and accessories. Without exclusives and a low entry price there’s no reason to buy an Xbox. I think it’s too late for Xbox to ever be a viable contender again in the console race which is bad for the industry and gamers both.

Dark Messiah Might and Magic Elements would be my choice. It’s such a fun, stupid time and I absolutely love it.

I find the whole situation hilarious. Sony comes out and makes what most people would call a boneheaded move and shuts down a studio renowned for their ability to create amazing remakes. As we have seen in the last several years there is a huge market for remakes and PlayStation fans are constantly begging for a Bloodborne remake. Bluepoint apparently didn’t want to work on remakes anymore but that is certainly better than being shut down. Then along comes Microsoft and says hold my beer. We’ve got a brand new person that will be leading the gaming division and she knows a thing or two about AI. It’s all just insane and both companies look worse because of it

Started playing this on Gamepass and ended up picking up a physical copy on Amazon for $23. One of my favorite games of this generation and might even move into my top 10 of all time. I love that sense of dread and anxiety it gives just by not knowing what’s around the next corner
