Re: 'Forspoken' PS5 Delay Means It Won't Come To Xbox Until 2025

@UltimateOtaku91 I think there is huge difference between paying for development of indie game like Stalker 2, Scorn, Ascent etc. and moneyhatting games from huge publisher like Deathloop, GhostWire, Final Fantasy, KOTOR Remake etc.

Like, nobody is mad at Sony that they moneyhatted Kena Bridge of Spirits, Stray and stuff like that. Because everybody can understand difficulty of game development and money from Sony probably got devs better sleep at night.

But to moneyhat Square Enix? One of the biggest publisher on Earth? Sorry. That's not cool at all.

But whatever. Forspoken looks terrible, so it is not that big of a loss and I literally don't care about Final Fantasy at all. Deathloop will be out this year in Game Pass and GhostWire next year also on Game Pass. And since KOTOR is a remake I'll just wait .

Re: Digital Foundry Looks At Halo Infinite's Ongoing Issues

@Richnj Yeah. But iD made a Battlemode. And guess how that panned out.
If 343 with 540 employees struggles to get out content quick enough how better would iD with 300 employees do?

And don't get me wrong. Doom games are excelent and better then Halo Infinite campaing. But my point is...let iD make games that they are good at making. Not twist them and force them to work on Halo.

Microsoft won't take Halo from 343. There is no point in doing that. It makes more sense to restructure 343.

@Kooky_Daisuke ehh nope.
Outside of fact that you would need to "force" id to make Halo games (which is clearly against current Xbox philosophy of letting devs working on games they wanted to make) i really don't think iD is capable in terms of running live service game. And Halo Infinite needs to be live service.

I mean, iD is great in making SP focused games, but MP in Doom 2016 was just plain bad and Battlemode in Eternal is okayish at best.

So what would you exactly solve by forcing id to make Halo games?

Re: Jim Ryan Argues Xbox Game Pass Model Would Lead To Weaker PlayStation Games

@HungryHungryHomer
And why shoud I care? If Sony is offering something for 13,99€ per month and Microsoft is offering something better for 13,99€ I would obviously go with Game Pass.

If Sony if offering ***** service then GP, without day-one first party games, they should charge less for their service. If not I will compare them equally, because they cost same money.

Also, Ryan's ***** are just that. *****. Last year Microsoft was highest rated publisher on Metacritic while releasing all their first-party games in GP. Meanwhile, Sony charged 80€ for Returnal and Ratchet and can't beat Microsoft. So what does it tells you?
