I've always had top tier but have such a backlog for stuff I already bought and the games MS has been releasing lately on it aside from the Oblivion remake and expedition 33 have definitely not been my cup of tea. CoD has been getting exponentially worse so there's not much value to the most expensive tier
Hacks and astroturf influencers have been trying to tank this game for a bit of time now. The mixed reviews seem to making non-statements and being presumptuous.
I'll always leave room for some optimism but I hate their corporate heads. The messaging and pandering only annoyed me and lost faith in the software. The Activision purchase made me lose (more) faith in their decision making and even more with the price hikes. But now it just feels like contemptuous gas-lighting while they engage in PR to appease investors just long enough.
I was a HUGE fan....spent tens of thousands on my backlog I will never get through, but my trust is bad enough it feels pointless to buy anymore unless it's a big title or pay for Game Pass Ultimate- otherwise I'm mostly gaming on PS Pro and already amassed a huge library.
Only got as far as the hotel room in the beginning but wish Grace's script was better written and acted. She'd be more believable as an accounting savant on the spectrum working at the IRS or working the mail room at an office than an FBI agent
I quit movies and a lot of other stuff. It's like the industry is making itself as unlikeable as possible this gen between all the price gouging, the forceful transition to digital serfdom, lying inept executives, and narcissistic militant activist developers...and then there's the quality of what we're served for the price they're asking.
Although I think a lot of the hikes are orchestrated and not because of 'shortages', from the greed angle I wish they would realize literally EVERYTHING in life got 20-50% more expensive the last few years and gets exponentially worse with time while the average person is lucky to get a lousy 2-4% raise in a year. Good luck competing with food and housing, gaming industry.
I'm surprised there's even that many physical game sales. Any store I go to has more Nintendo games but even that only 2 shelves while ps and Xbox have 1 each. GameStop's nowhere to be seen anymore, leaving Amazon.
I went all digital since 360 but now that I read the tea leaves, I'm starting to think it will be all cloud by that magic "2030" milestone and they'll be giving us atats on our emissions/carbon score along with our achievements and hours played recaps.
Knowing how companies roll, I'm thinking they're going to borrow Nvidia's model. Everything is cloud because they acquiesce us to shortages if it's not unaffordable hardware and aside from the catalog, we'll be paying for higher resolutions and capped session times.
Mostly a mix of PC and Pro/Portal for me. The latter combo just works for me. Switch 2 was a disappointment and Ally X while good, is too cumbersome with full windows to be convenient. SEMeries X used to be my main but all their priority to shoehorn messaging killed their 1st party for me and then all the news throughout the year was just demoralizing and had me spending more on PS5 versions of games I would otherwise buy on xbox

Even the responses she gives sound like Ai. The family account narrative doesn't really add up either.
Only thing worse than a liar is a bad one

Re: A Supermassive Horror Game Is Coming In Early 2026 As 'Directive 8020' Plots May Release Date
So they just stole/merged plot of the Thing with other movies, slapped diversity in, and called it a day

F-.
I can already tell whoever made them has a nose ring. The ones on PS look so much better and tasteful although the game-themed ones are kind of lame.

Lol. Damage was already done so why now? Given their actions, pardon us if we do not exactly believe their press release.
