Re: This is How Easy It is to Stream Xbox One Games to the Oculus Rift

Doing it in something like Halo might be problematic, but Forza should be a no-brainer. Cockpit view + racing wheel set-up, turning your head to look to the side... shouldn't even be so much of an issue with virtual reality sickness, as your body is already conditioned to believe you can be sat still in a car and moving at speed.

@Emanouel Sorry to burst that bubble, but Titanfall won't be heading to EA Access, according to EA.

Quote from http://www.ea.com/eaaccess:
TITANFALL EXCLUDED FROM ALL EA ACCESS FEATURES; SEE EA.COM/EAACCESS FOR UPDATES AND ANY FUTURE EXCLUSIONS, CONDITIONS, AND LIMITATIONS. ACCEPTANCE OF EA ACCESS TERMS OF USE AND ORIGIN ACCOUNT REQUIRED TO SUBSCRIBE... etc, etc.

It's my belief that it's because it was only published by EA, not developed in-house. Something like that, anyway. Respawn got funding through "EA Partners", but they aren't owned by EA and hold the copyright for TF themself. When EA Access was announced, Titanfall was acknowledged from the start as one title that wouldn't appear.
For £10 with all DLC thrown in, it's a pretty good deal, so snap it up in the knowledge that you're not throwing money on a game you'll get free next month.

Deals confirmed working in UK as well. Not mentioned is BF4 Premium (the season pass itself, as opposed to the Premium Edition including season pass) is down to £16, according to one of my friends.

Having traded my disc-based copy of DR3 in at my local game shop last week for £20, in order to buy the digital version including DLC for £24, I might just have to do the same with Titanfall. Deluxe digital edition for £10, when I can trade-in my disc copy for £12. Not having to put the disc in when I want to play might just mean I actually play it more as well.

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider Now to Be Published by Microsoft - Likely to Be Fully Xbox Exclusive

Would be good for MS if this turns out to be an Xbox exclusive after all, especially since the news of SFV. Phil's words when asked about the exclusivity were always a little ambiguous:
"Yes, the deal has a duration. I didn't buy it. I don't own the franchise." and
"Obviously the deal does have a duration. I didn't buy the IP in perpetuity."
All he was ever confirming was that there was a limit, and he hadn't purchased the rights for every Tomb Raider game from now until eternity. People read it as a timed exclusive, but there really wasn't anything to back those thoughts up, and Phil wouldn't be drawn on what limits the deal had.
