Back on Saturday, one of the games we highlighted in our "Games Coming To Xbox Next Week" roundup was DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round, which is officially available today on Xbox in a couple of forms. However, we didn't know at the time that the original Tekken would be coming to Xbox as well, so we thought we'd lump them both together here!
Let's start with Tekken, which is being released as part of the Arcade Archives 2 program from HAMSTER Corporation. It's an emulated version of the 1994 Japanese release in the arcades ("for the main part of the game"), and it's available on the Xbox Store right now at £14.99 / $16.99 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
The other game here is Dead or Alive 6 Last Round, which has a "Core Fighters" version that's free-to-play along with a paid release for £32.99 / $39.99. Last Round adds various new features compared to the original Dead or Alive 6 from 2019, including new characters, a photo mode, new costumes and a new lighting system.
However, it currently has a "Mostly Negative" set of reviews on Steam, with people complaining that it's essentially the same game with just a few minor tweaks.
