@x3King84 I use my X for any cross-platform games because of achievements (if the game isn't on PC as well, which is rare). I also keep it going for the backwards compatibility. It's the only way to play Fable 2 and Too Human anymore outside of an actual 360.
Plus, I hate the PS5 controller. It hurts my hands after an hour.
I really, really hope that going forward, the big players in video games stick to the same store archive in subsequent consoles. Tying your digital storefront to hardware is so archaic, not to mention greedy. I know it's not feasible to have every game backwards compatible, but at least give the option to buy those games on the old consoles. Why do they have their own servers!? Use the same servers as the new stuff and do some load balancing! I know this because I WORK WITH CLOUD SERVERS.
Going to play this tonight. Looks right up my alley. Heck, I liked the janky Internet Cafe Simulator (didn't buy 2, it's supposedly even buggier), and you can't even play the games in that one.
@Hexamex-Tex If there is one game to buy and not use Game Pass to play, it's this one. If on PC, of course. The best part of Bethesda games is the modding community keeping the games alive well after their already massive lifespans.
That, or play on Game Pass for now, wait awhile for mods, and buy it when it gets cheaper.
I bought the 512GB Seagate for my Series S and it has been plenty for a secondary system to my PC. I mainly got the S for nostalgia (only way to play Fable 2 and Too Human for some reason).
@NeoRatt 10 years is becoming longer and longer in tech due to the Moore curve flattening. We just aren't increasing performance like we used to. The largest innovation in phone technology in a long, long time isn't the power - it's folding them.
New consoles will stop coming out when we hit the upper limits of what silicon can do. Until we get some massive breakthrough in chip technology, there really wouldn't be much of a reason to keep releasing tiny increases of performance.
I can see two, maybe one more generation until we hit the wall of the death of Moore's Law.

You'd think after typing the wrong title four times, they would get "Skull ISLAND: Rise of Kong" correct.

Re: id Software Apparently Helped Starfield's Team With Graphics
@Ep_13 my only point is that you will want to buy it eventually.
Re: Review: Arcade Paradise - A Great Simulation Game That Deserves Your Attention
@Lavalera You're in luck, it's coming to Game Pass.

If Bobby Kotick doesn't like it, you KNOW it's good for the consumer.

Re: Xbox Announces Permanent Price Cut For Series X|S Storage Expansion Cards
They're still about double what they should be.
Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Appears To Have A Ridiculously Large Download Size On Xbox Series X
I'm guessing the actual game assets are about 20 GB, and the rest is uncompressed audio and video. One cutscene is like 4 to 6 GB.
Re: Xbox Fans Call On Bethesda To Delay Redfall Until 60FPS Is Ready
Who cares, it's an Arkane game. All they churn out is the same, boring, not-as-good-as-Deus-Ex crap.
Re: Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (April 6)
It's never a good sign when a single-player story-driven game's cutscenes are not-even-animated 2D characters talking.

@Novs damn, you said the same thing as I did.
Re: Koei Tecmo Wants Your Suggestions For New Xbox Game Pass Titles
Project Zero is a good candidate. I don't want to buy it, but I would definitely like to try it out to see if it is good.

"New IP." Riiiiight.

@TheSilverFalcon Buy another Dreamcast - they aren't that expensive and all the games can be burned to CD-R. It's really freaking fun.
