This feature is incredible. If they expand it, I’ll definitely start building my OG Xbox library on PC. And achievements? That’s exactly what I’m talking about.
I really enjoyed this game, but I get why Microsoft had to part ways with Compulsion. It just didn’t sell many copies, and the choice was either to make a sequel for a game few people bought or take the bigger risk of creating a new IP. With the old Game Pass strategy, smaller games worked, but with the new hits-driven approach, there wasn’t anywhere else to go.
I’m really excited for this, but I’ll hold off since it’s releasing too close to Dawnwalker. I wish it was coming to the Xbox app on PC. Konami has released Silent Hill and MGS Delta there, so they clearly have some support for it. Maybe by the time I’m ready to buy, they’ll add it. If not, I’ll probably grab it on Steam later in the year. The uprez for the Peacewalker scenes look great.
This is great, but it would’ve been nice to have Resynced available at launch with achievements. I bought it day one on Steam but wouldn't have minded buying it on here even without play anywhere. I’m one of those sickos who doesn’t own an Xbox but prefers using the Xbox app over Steam. My only gripe is the lack of support. It’s been improving over the years though, and most of the games I’m excited for this year are releasing on it. I just hope Ubi and EA start adding proper achievements.
This is unfortunate but it makes a lot of sense. I don't think anyone can look at any of those three studios and honestly say that they have been successful or moved the needle at all for Microsoft. It's a shame because it was definitely partly mismanagement from Microsoft that led to this.
I am curious what other studios are in the chopping block. I have faith that Microsoft will probably keep Obsidian. I mean who else are they are gonna throw at Fallout and Elder Scrolls besides BGS.
I’ve been playing the demo on the PC app and have already preordered it. It’s a fantastic Zelda-like, with stunning HD2D visuals and beautiful portrait art that really make it stand out. We’ll see if the full game lives up to the two hours I’ve experienced so far.
Definitely an A. Persona and Fable killed it. Clockwork Revolution next year is really exciting and some really cool third party games available on the Xbox app.
Already preordered Persona 4. It comes out the same day as Fable early access but eh, I am okay with buying it anyway and supporting Persona games on the Xbox app. Will probably play right after Fable.
