Game looks interesting as a whole. But this stop motion animation... If you can turn it off it means developers know that their "feature" is highly controversial. But then again you can't turn it off in cutscenes, which probably means turning it off was a last minute call after that gameplay demo on Xbox conference - they just didn't have time and resources to remake all the cutscenes.
So working on this "feature" doesn't seem like a time well spent. And there was no one who could tell them that's a bad idea?
Definitely Halo. I bought Series S on release and started to delve into Game Pass. Gears was a masterpiece, all of them, love them all. Halo, on the other hand, was unbearable. I managed to play till the third one, but dropped it. It was so silly 11-year old power fantasy with annoying gunplay and sterile level design, I couldn't bear it anymore. CGI cutscenes in Halo 2 Anniversary were top-notch, though, absolutely amazing work even now. On the other hand, Halo Infinite was pretty fun in multiplayer. Never tried to play its story mode.
It's hard to be enthusiastic about Xbox these days. Gears 6 is a must, nobody cares about new CoD, we all know the release date, the content, CoD is business as usual. Marcus Phoenix Collection is another must. Gameplay trailers with release dates for all those projects from studios bought in 2018 and 2019. Xbox has to try really hard to restore confidence of fans.
I started with Series S. I was a happy PS4 owner back then in 2020 and I was definitely inclined to buy PS5, obviously, nothing to discuss there. But then they actually presented the console. And the games. So I said to myself: "Yeah... thanks for all the fish". I bought myself Series S day one. It was a great console through and through. Generations ahead of PS4 (even PS5 for that matter) in terms of social interactions and QoL. Gave it away this year, so now I'm back on my PS4.

Looks pretty bleak. More like some Fanatical indie bundle you spend $10 on.

Anthem once again. Same belief in some "Bioware magic", "trust me, it's gonna work" and all that.
Re: Destiny 2: The Final Shape Servers Collapse Under Increased Traffic
Tons of people still play Destiny 2. Poor souls.
This is why we can't have nice things.
