I personally, I'm on the fence for any console due to price point. Yet if, Xbox offered disc drive and sony didn't. I would be willing to pay a little more for that feature as long it still has backwards compatibility for my old Xbox games.
I'm actually more of a fan of remasters. They game has the same feeling and core what what is was before. By upscaling some of the graphics, faster load times and sometimes like oblivion fix some gameplay to modern mechanics.
Remakes. I always try but for the most part prefer the original. There are some great remakes but perhaps I like them cause I didn't play the original.
But overall quality of the remake and remaster is the key.
Looks beautiful and puzzles are good in part 1 but the story or rather lack of story telling prevents this series to be great. It needs better story telling to hook and motivate the player.
First time posting and nice to join the community. I have to say, many of you have much better breakdowns and thinking any other gaming sites.
I knew eventually Microsoft was going to hire a person like the one they appointed.
They invested large sums in AI and they want someone with that background to utilize the new investment for the permanent direction ahead.
You can tell in her statement that she being vague and highlighting the pass great moments. Yet not stating they will not use AI, stating to not create AI slop. Essentially being broad on communication so no accountability when they have Blizzard and other major games they bought start using AI.
Finally companies are pretending to downplay AI now because they know the consumers really don't want it. So they are downplaying AI but behind the scenes moving forward with AI as the priority and backed with resources moving forward.

@Savex
I believe you are correct. People will get hyped of the PS6 and still buy it.
After the initial buzz. I'm curious if PS6 will continue sell well. Playstation I believe has always had pretty steady sales through out the cycle.
But this will be the true test for consumers price point and product for gaming. In a long time.
Re: These Are The Top 10 Xbox Backwards Compatibility Requests After 750,000 Votes
Majin Forsaken Kingdom. Is my game I truly want.
Re: Report: Multiple Xbox Studios In 'Active Negotiations' With Microsoft To Avoid Closure
I strongly believe Microsoft will finally give the death blow soon for Xbox console.
I can see Xbox announcing next year. No console will be coming out and will focus on streaming and third party only.
Essentially: This is Xbox will be literal. If you have different console, pc, or stream tv... Etc. . You still have Xbox games.
New slogan will be Xbox is everywhere.

Re: Xbox Unveils New Logo And Explains How To Make It Your Series X|S Background
@Balaam_... Yeah. I agree. It doesn't pop out and noticeable enough. Decent but highlighted more somehow would of been best.
What I really don't like is the new slogan. We are Xbox. Cones off cheesy.
To be fair though. It's tough to make a good slogan.

Tainted Grail Demo was great. I'm going to wait it out for hopefully a better price one day.
I'm currently playing games in my endless backlog.

@Sindayl
I agree she has been good at marketing. I just hope they back it up and not use better marketing or words to deceive us.

Sad day for not just gaming but art.
