@Sakai this is the time ordinarily we would be talking about the future and new opportunities together for partnership... They're being bought by Microsoft there's not going to be any opportunities or partnerships between them

The free to play modes get all the attention & people that payed the £70 for the 'premium' experience are an afterthought , I find it laughable that the classic modern warfare 2 characters from the campaign such as Captain Price , Ghost & Soap are all locked behind the expensive 'vault' edition of the game & a map that was in the beta has been hidden until now so they can add it in as a 'new' map & say they're adding content

@Fenbops it released on ps5 for £70 on September 2nd & releases for pc on march 28th for £50

@Fenbops well yeah I know that it's just that Microsoft will say about how their all about what's best for the consumer & even what I replied to they mentioned complete parity for 10 years between Nintendo Xbox playstation & steam but we all know games will be cheaper on pc & have no online paywall & they already are but when it's Microsoft owned games Xbox players should call them out on it

@Bleachedsmiles yeah that aswell will be interesting to see if they get any flack for charging less on pc for games they own than they do on their own consoles although I bet they'll get a pass because gamepass lol

@Tasuki as @JetmanUK said it was the pinball arcade they rebranded as stern pinball arcade but don't have nearly as many tables because they lost the rights to them still a few bangers though I've got it on switch & the rumble is really cool

I really like pinball but they should sell the game with all the tables for a reasonable price not in packs where you have to buy 3 tables to get the one you want lol , hoping it supports the dualsense though the rumble on the switch is really good

Sounds to me like the shareholders of Microsoft are fed up with the returns on the Xbox division & now they're looking to cut costs everywhere from all the recent news

@Dannyxtra 'Microsoft are currently 3rd in the race and this wouldn't even see them top, ' I think you're underestimating just how big this deal is cod is huge in the console market & king is huge in the mobile market then they'd have a whole bunch of extra IPs on top of that spyro , crash , guitar hero , DJ hero , prototype , diablo etc. They could very easily take market share when they've just acquired zenimax aswell

@OrfeasDourvas I don't want to be subscribed to a subscription service I like to own the games I care about I also prefer the dualsense & it already doesn't get utilised much with more & more games being owned by Microsoft they're not going to bother adding any dualsense features to their games

@Shigurui Sony didn't sell them they were owned by naughty dog & insomniac that sold them years before Sony acquired them

@Green-Bandit Sony couldn't remove destiny from Xbox if it wanted to as it has a bunch of paid expansions aswell as microtransactions for it so removing that content from only Xbox players that paid for it while keeping the servers active on every other platform would be illegal same with all the games that Xbox now owns that were on PlayStation before they acquired zenimax although I don't think they'd want to anyway as live service games make sense being on the most platforms possible to stay relevant & get that microtransactions money

@old-dad if it's single player it will get turned into an Xbox exclusive even if those IPs were born on PlayStation the only games that will be multiplatform will be the online live service ones with microtransactions

@stvevan I really hope it doesn't I love crash & spyro & I don't want to have to buy a series console to play them (I know you can use gamepass cloud but that's s**** to me)

@Banjo- when was the last time they spent 70 billion dollars ? At the end of the day you can't ever compare anything Sony's ever done to this because Bethesda was the largest ever gaming acquisition & this is going on 10 times that it's unprecedented

@Kaloudz I expect Spider-Man 2 to take it if it comes out this year aside from the fact that spider-man is an incredibly popular IP it's also being made by insomniac which have been consistently killing it

@Gamingforlife because they signed a contract with Sony before the acquisition, I'm certain they'dve been Xbox exclusive if they'dve acquired them sooner

@Friendly because I just watched the developer_direct on the chance they might announce something I was interested in & I found the news that this game would be exclusive to Xbox kind of ironic given Microsoft are currently trying to acquire Activision blizzard which has some IPs I care about that I don't want to see removed from playstation & Nintendo consoles
