All the Project Gotham games as well as MSR on Dreamcast (same developer) are probably the best racing games of their generation. Pretty sure PGR4 was my most played game on Xbox 360, could be brutally difficult at times if you want to get all the achievements, but was worth every second. Microsoft was the Publisher of the PGR series and now owns the rights to the games through the Activision acquisition. I think it's time to put some extra pressure on Microsoft/Activision to get these back. My dream is to play these in 4K 120hz on today's console.
A friend of mine tried to get an Xbox Series X in October 2024, because he wanted to play Indiana Jones and didn't want to invest in a new gaming PC. He tried for three months before giving up (no black friday deals / out of stock). It's pretty obvious that Xbox's strategy is completely wrong. It's hard to say what the reason is, but it's probably one or more of these: 1) They've throttled production or access to consoles for retailers. 2) Raised the price for retailers, i.e. stopped subsidizing. 3) "Realized" that where we play doesn't matter as long as we buy GP or their games. 4) ...or they just are waiting for the next Xbox OS. Whatever the reason; - they're losing customers, often new high valuable (console) customers.
Project Gotham Racing series was developed by Bizarre Creations (Activision) and published by Microsoft Game Studios. - Please bring back Project Gotham Racing 1-4 / Blur and hire former employees of Bizarre Creations; - Lucid Games Ltd. to do a remake or remaster of Project Gotham Racing 4.

Maybe we'll finally get to play an enhanced version of PGR4 on ONE/Series S/X.
VR is niche similar to Kinect, but the Xbox platform needs VR due to several things. Kids love VR, its perfect for party games and many (like me) do not want to invest in a high-end PC and relatively expensive VR headset. Afraid that Xbox will be late for the VR party. Just see how Apple and Facebook is gearing up for next gen VR.

Banjo with Double Fine's humor. This is a no brainer and could be a Super Mario killer.
