It's funny people keep bring up the word "Monopoly" but Disney is over here gobbling up the whole entertainment market and no one bats an eye.

@LtSarge if it's anything like renewing rights for streaming video/on demand services it's really hard to do that. I imagine most of these 3rd party games probably don't have much of a notice before they come back to gamepass. A lot of times these deals are made on the fly.

We all know Nintendo is king in Japan, but Microsoft gaming market is more tied with Sony's which believe it or not has a huge foot hold in Japan. Any market share Microsoft can gain in japan would be a gaming achievement haha. If Tango studios can show success drawing interest in japan then that would entice MS to acquire more studios in the region. That was his whole point he was trying to make.

@carlos82 they're targeting 4k streaming to compete with Google Stadia. The beta testing has been 720p, but Azure can definitely handle 4k.

@carlos82 unless you're streaming 4k gaming at 120fps through game pass which is possible through Xcloud. Which is no doubt the future of gaming.

@GamerDad66 in 6 days most gamepass games will be available to play on phones, tablets, and smart TVs. This is just basically hardware to play new 3rd party software before it hits gamepass.

@OlosNah it would be odd for them to advertise 1440p at 120fps if it doesn't actually reach that performance in this next generation of game releases.
