@Kaloudz I thought it had already been confirmed that the Sony guys statement was took out of context , and he was referring to the pc platform, although I would love helldivers 2 to be on xbox, more people more fun, the game is fantastic , best mp game since gears.

My xbox one was always slower than my ps4 in downloading and installing , same for my series x and ps5 , don't even know why this is , both on 5g both on same network , the ps5 takes half the time.

@Sifi pc isn't a rival console, completely different , Sony will never put there 1st party games on xbox , destiny and mlb are a different situation, both are contractual, the other games are to valuable to them, I think the problem with some xbox gamers is they thought because Microsoft bought all these studios , that was it , it was game over for Sony, seems that's not the case, I dont see what the problem is, they tried , didn't work out, so this is the solution.

@StylesT it would only be a mistake if they didn't put there games on game pass day one and the xbox wasn't lagging behind the ps and switch so much, they won't catch them now , to little to late from ms and this is the solution , more money to bang back into their studios and that means better games , and maybe they can take more risks and bring back some older franchises, the more I think about it , its a great idea.

@Fishticon they want game sales as well as game pass and who can blame them , by all accounts game pass isn't doing as well as they thought, and with all those switch and ps owners willing to buy their games, why not, its a business and people should see it as such, rather than constantly crying about it , its starting to do my head in.

@Halucigens well its all but confirmed they are bringing 3 xbox exclusives to ps , if they sell and microsoft sees it makes more sense , more will follow , once people get use to an idea , its far easier to transition, I cant see anyone apologising, because they've kinda been right.

If games where on ps, maybe it will make xbox take a chance making some of the games that we've wanted for years , surely thats a good thing.

@Widey85 xbox won't make an announcement because they won't be allowed to, thats for the shareholders, which are far more important to microsoft than us gamers.

@Kaloudz there's gonna be games available on ps , that have always been available on ps , really don't know what all the fuss is about.

It's an MS thing isn't it, as its for the shareholders I suspect it'll be along the lines of , we are dedicated to bringing more of our products to more people, and then phil will make a twitter post saying, that we are for the people, so we are dedicated to bringing more of our games to more gamers, so they can play xbox studio games, and that'll be that, then in a month or so there will be an xbox presentation stating exactly what those games are , my guess is starfield, hi fi rush and sea of thieves.

@Kaloudz it isn't as polished as there other games, looks very rough and jittery,the times I spent on land seem pointless and couldve been just done from a menu , the sea battles are not a patch on black flag , with boarding just a button press followed by some poor animation, it definitely is not worth 70

@Syndrome xbox will get a budget from Microsoft, this 69 billion they spent on abk was microsofts business plan, nothing to do with xbox as such , you didn't really think they spent all that money to please xbox owners, by filling game pass with them and nothing more, did you? Microsoft have made some really bad decisions in the past , whos to say this isn't another.

@BacklogBrad a lot of people who where on xbox last gen, bought ps5s this generation so thats not true, people will go where the better games are and offer better value , a lot of past xbox gamers have took up pc gaming , because they don't want ps, and whats the point in owning the xbox console

@anoyonmus Sony won't care if ms wants to put there games on ps , all they cared about was cod and they've got that , and they certainly categorically will not, put any of their big hitters on xbox.

@theduckofdeath I think there will definitely be a next iteration of xbox, but that will be last, and you will see xbox forcibly steered towards becoming a publisher only, in the next few years or so, MS won't be happy that they have been continually last place generation after generation, I think game pass was its final attempt at doing so , and I feel that's not been the success Phil suggested to the board, that he thought it would be.

@InterceptorAlpha them leaving the console market will not even be touched upon, even if they have plans to, but phil is being very cryptic and unusually quiet, somethings going down , I suspect everyone's blood pressure to be sky high over at xbox hq

Good it was far to slow
