It’s a great compilation. Let down by a few simple things. Such as no turbo button function, which existed in Capcom Fighting Collection. And no dedicated Vs. mode where you can select your characters and stages after every fight. Instead, you have to either have the loser join back in and the winner stick with the same character, or have a quick save on the select screen. Not ideal for local multiplayer. But otherwise it’s fantastic. I’ve already mastered the PS version and am very much looking forward to doing the same with this one.
My current tv will support either 2160p60 or 1440p120. Not both together. I tend to play 2160p60. I have tested 120Hz on a handful of games and to be honest, can’t really tell a difference. Well, apart from some stutter. However, I have now bought a new tv that is due to arrive next week. This one supports all of the bells and whistles of HDMI 2.1 so let’s see if I can notice the 120Hz option then, now in 4K…
@ddlevine the loading times on PS5 are exactly the same speed as the previous Capcom Fighting Collection. I haven’t yet played MVC1 a lot yet, just had a quick mess in training mode, but so far so good. No problems to report.
Doesn’t bother me personally. I have a PS5 and Series X. My Xbox gets 90% of the playtime. And to be honest, the majority of games I play are multi platform anyway. I rarely go for the first party stuff, though Hellblade did suck me in. And even if it was on both consoles I’d stick with the Xbox version. I just don’t like that damn PS5 controller.
Had a quick go last night. Won my first race against 39 other racers. Very surprised. Seems fun though, looking forward to seeing what can be added to it in the future…
It looks ok to me. Better than the PS5. Their Dashboard is too empty, at least with this one you can have a background picture and the games/apps are easy to see. It just runs slow and sometimes the console has to be reset to make everything work.
This is very well deserved. The other games may be epics but this game is the most addictive game I have played in years. And that’s the point of video games, to play, over and over again, and enjoy. Very happy for these guys.

Re: Croc's Upcoming Remaster Is Getting A Physical Version, But Not On Xbox
@GuyinPA75 you are forgiven.
Re: Croc's Upcoming Remaster Is Getting A Physical Version, But Not On Xbox
@GuyinPA75 this has nothing to do with PlayStation though. Sony don’t own the IP. It’s the company that’s making the physical versions.
Re: 1997 PS1 Classic 'Croc' Is Getting A Remaster For Xbox One & Series X|S
@NEStalgia this has nothing to do with Sony. It was also released on Sega Saturn back in the day.

Re: Roundup: Here's What Critics Are Saying About Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection
@ddlevine I really don’t think that is a going to be a problem. What’s a few seconds, when we’ve been used to so much longer for so many years?
Re: Roundup: Here's What Critics Are Saying About Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection
@ddlevine I would imagine the load times to be the same, as it’s a couple of seconds on the PS.
@shonenjump86 gives us something to look forward to.

Bought this in the early hours of this morning on PS. It is a joy to play. I absolutely cannot wait for the Xbox version next year. Let’s go crazy!
Re: Capcom & Microsoft Find Solution To Bring Two New Fighting Collections To Xbox
@Azathoth that’s fine for me as I don’t play online. I just want to play these games with a comfortable controller.

Glad I didn’t purchase this. One of the main reasons for me to buy it was Mortal Kombat. Gonna hold out a bit longer now…

Why that would be Rainbow Islands on Sega Master System. Absolutely loved that game.
