It's not very often that we see permanent price drops for major AAA games on the Xbox Store, especially when they've only been out for a year, but that's exactly what's happened with Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.
For whatever reason, Konami has decided to slash the price of Snake Eater from £69.99 / $69.99 to £44.98 / $49.99, which represents a 35.73% decrease here in the UK, and 28.58% in the United States.
The same goes for the Deluxe Edition, which has dropped to £49.99 / $59.99.
It's still not the lowest price we've ever seen for this game on Xbox, but it's close. The lowest it's ever gone in an Xbox Store sale is £34.99 / $34.99, but obviously that was only a temporary discount whereas today's one is permanent.
Whether it's worth buying is up to you, and we'll leave a poll down below for those who own it to share their thoughts. Both the Xbox Series X and particularly the Xbox Series S version came in for some criticism over their performance back at launch, but it's also a game that has a 4.4/5 rating on the Xbox Store, so clearly most players on there are having a good time with it.
It's also worth noting that Xbox Play Anywhere was added to this title back in December!
So, if you own it already, what do you think of Snake Eater? Please tell us your thoughts in the poll and comments.
