Eight Xbox Games Are On The Delisting Pile For August & September 2026 So Far

It's been a while since we last highlighted a list of delisted games on Xbox, and that's obviously a good thing - it means there haven't been many notable ones in recent weeks, although that's kind of about to change in the near future.

August is actually very quiet for upcoming delisted games on Xbox right now, but we've had a few small indies that have disappeared without warning already, so we at least wanted to bring those to your attention. At the same time, the list for September has started taking shape, so those ones are well worth keeping in mind as well.

We're going to give you the full lists for August and September first, and then we'll break them down a bit:

The good news is that this list is nowhere near as bad as it seems. The first five games were sadly all delisted without warning back on August 6th (as spotted by True Achievements), but will apparently be coming back in the future under a new publisher at some point. On-rails shooter Railbreak, meanwhile, will be removed from sale on September 4th, but will be replaced by a new "expanded" version called Railbreak DX with Xbox Play Anywhere support (although it doesn't appear to be a free upgrade).

"NOTE: Please be aware the original legacy Railbreak title will be removed from individual direct sale in September 2026. Railbreak DX is designed to be supported long-term as an expanded experience alongside new graphics, polish, gameplay, and much more. Railbreak DX also fully supports XBOX Play Anywhere unlike the legacy title."

As for Warface: Clutch, that one's a free-to-play online shooter that will become delisted and entirely unplayable from August 25th. HAWKED is in the same boat, but is already delisted ahead of its September 7th closure.

And finally, the Xbox 360 version of Toy Story 3 is being delisted on September 29th, but only because a remastered version called the Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is releasing a few weeks later (along with other retro Toy Story games).

"Starting on September 29, 2026, Toy Story 3 will no longer be available for purchase. Players who have purchased Toy Story 3 will still be able to access the game after this date. Toy Story 3: The Complete Edition, will be released on October 15th, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, and will include all of the features in the original game with updated graphics and additional new features."

Naturally, you'll still have access to most of these games if you own them already, with the exception being Warface: Clutch. In other words, your ability to play Toy Story 3 won't expire on September 29th with the delisting.

There's every chance that more titles will be added to this list over the coming weeks, so we'll keep an eye on the situation and provide an update if we get more details. For now, let us know your thoughts on these games below.
