@jesse_dylan All power to you, Jesse. I'm not knocking anyone who benefits from the reward points, I just don't get the grind for reward points for the sake of it? My post was a little flippant LoL, I just think the reward points are a bonus, not something to grind for as if they are achievements to 100% But, each to their own, I guess.
Imagine only playing games to soak up points in order to continue playing games. Sheeez! Do you spend too much money on stuff you normally wouldn't buy in the supermarkets just for the BOGOF offers and Nectar points?
Spent 5 minutes in the multiplayer lobbies to see how sweaty the SBMM is (very sweaty but enjoyable) now on hardest setting and doing the campaign before jumping back in to MP, which is ok, but glad I never paid full price for it back at launch. Looking forward to Black Ops 6.
I earn a £5er voucher about once a month, but tbh they are not something I chase. I appreciate what I get and only have time to game for 2-3 hours in the evenings. Play a couple of games, collect my streak points on both the mobile app and console with the odd PC or mobile game and in return I get a £5er discount off a game that's usually heavily discounted to begin with. I hear stories of gamers earning enough to pay for GP subs and even new consoles but I'm not terminally online grinding for rewards like them.
How could I not want to revive the Tony Hawks nostalgic vibes. As for Crash, meh. Had all the fun I needed with Crash back in the days of the PS1. What's a Spyro? 🫠Is that the little dragon platformer? I feel too old for a game like that but the younger gamers may find some fun with it.
Grabbed the 3rd one in the trilogy only (Call of Pripyat) to get myself acquainted with the IP before the new one drops, having never played them. Yeah it looks, feels and sounds old, which it is, but I can also see myself having fun with it. It doesn't hand hold like newer games tend to and I like that. And at only 6ish Gb it'll sit on my SSD unchallenged when the usual game shuffling happens when I'm trying to make room for additional purchases.
I sleep. Wake me up when Nordschleife drops. (I understand Microsoft's reasoning for drip feeding tracks to Forza, but it sure is frustrating to have to wait for tracks that shipped on day 1 in previous titles)
No. Bought Valhalla upon release along with 2 (I think) DLC's, and recently uninstalled the game to make room for other games. The common complaint is it's too large, which I find bizarre considering the price of the game. For me, it wasn't too large, it was too monotonous. Never even set foot in Paris and have little desire to in the future. I WANT to enjoy AC games like I used to and Valhalla is a beautiful game (though the sprawling skill tree is a ridiculous slight of hand mechanic that tries to fool you it's an RPG) but I think after playing Mirage, the IP has grown stale for me. It's nice to see it coming to GP though. I'm sure many of gamer will find something to love about the colossal title.
60fps? Yes! Let's see those load screens run smoother. Joking aside, I'm happy with 30fps. I'd sooner see the flat, washed out looking graphics have some life patched into them.
All this sh*t flinging from Sony is so tedious! "Waaaaaaah! Gamepass is better than our alternative therefore it's VaLuE DeStRuCtIvE!" STFU Jim, go make another spiderman or God of War exclusive and pretend Eggbox are bad when they have exclusives. Pathetic.
All those in the comments blaming the devs for the disaster release of Redfall like it's the devs who decide when to release games and not the shareholders.
LoL Hard pass Ubi! I already bought the games I like and I can wait for the sales on any future releases you have. Price is way too high, as you must be thinking people will sub at £15 a month. LoL Pass me some of that of whatever it is you're smoking.
Having a good time with it. The controls were too "floaty" on default but that's what options menus are for. Little bit of tweaking here and there and it's all good.
More than happy to play at 30fps in quality mode as long as it is "quality" and polished for the 30fps release. Personally, I'd only want a delayed release if the game wasn't ready. I suffered through the buggy mess of Cyberpunk from day one and enjoyed it, I think I can handle a polished 30fps game at this point.

Re: Pick One: Which 2024 First-Party Game Are You Most Looking Forward To From Xbox?
1/ Hellblade 2.
2/ ....err, that's it for 1st party IP's.
Been bitten too often recently to get too excited for anything 1st party.

Ghostwire: Tokyo, now I've managed to fix the floaty controls, and continuing my quest to 100% Sniper Elite 5 on authentic mode. (Eggbox Series X)
