Love Titanfall 2, I found Fallen order quite fun as a small fan of the Star Wars universe. I only played it on Gamepass unlike Titanfall which I bought. But Respawn are good at what they do and any new game from them is a welcome thing to look forward to.
Hi all, Yes the Series S is great for those entering the new generation on a budget and who are more casual gamers, where gamepass is what they prefer. But for many hardcore gamers the Series X is what they want, But I think not so much for it being a 4K beast.
Being digital is off putting to many hardcore gamers , yes many will argue the modern age is the digital age, but for myself and many we like physical games. Yes to hold in our hand our purchase is what we want. Nothing like opening that new game , getting that shrink wrap of and placing it on your shelf.
And like myself , many just can not afford a console like the Series X or PS5. The most I have paid for a console is £300.
And as I dont have a 4K TV, and probably won't have one for some time as I play most of my games on a 80 inch projection screen using my 1080P budget projector.
So what would be ideal for me is the Series S+ = A SERIES S with a disc drive. sell it for £299.00 and it well sell like hot cakes . Physical media is not going anywhere to soon, and when it does I will not be taking part in any gneration of digital only gaming. I will hang up my gaming hat , well I will just play my old stuff to be honest.
In my opinion Microsoft have the chance to clean up with a cheaper disc drive machine aimed at 1080P players, because I would jump in right away.
