Re: NHL 23 Hits The Ice This October, With Cross-Play Arriving In November

@GuyinPA75 I am actually still having fun with NHL 22, but i'm only playing that game specifically because it is on Game Pass. The problem, which I believe all EA sports games have, is it's had basically 0 real gameplay or system improvement since at least 2019 and most likely for longer. I like the concept of the Be a pro career, and I actually find it fun to play a single player instead of controlling the full team, but the stupid conversation system has been consistently bad from its introduction. If I had a copy of an NHL game from 10+ years ago, other than general graphics improvements, it would probably be a more enjoyable game.

Re: Talking Point: Is Forced Cross-Play On Xbox Becoming A Huge Issue?

@Dusk_Actual Same here, I've been playing weekly since the "early multiplayer release" with controller on PC, and I'm surprised that I don't see it all the time if it is really that big of an issue. I obviously fully believe cheating is happening, there have just been so many articles that make it seem like an epidemic and my experience hasn't aligned with that perception. Maybe Microsoft is prioritizing pairing PC cheaters with XBOX players.

Re: Halo Infinite's Battle Pass Progression Is Being Updated In Response To Player Feedback

@Daleaf Cheers, hope you are able to have some fun with it! Grenades are your friend, and if you are in close quarters you almost always want to melee to start or finish a kill. Also once the beta ends and they open up more online playlists, you can pick and choose the game/objective types that you find fun. for now you kinda just have to take what you get. One of my favorites in Halo 3 / Reach was Rocket race. Teams of two race on the mongoose, with one driving and one wielding a rocket launcher, it was chaotic nonsense.

Re: Xbox Series X Controller Still Requires AA Batteries

JohnyHalo

Android users have been praising phones with removable batteries for years. The Problem with an integrated battery is dealing with the possibility of that component failing. Sure it's more convenient at first glance, but I've always liked the option to buy a rechargeable battery kit and use that for all my Xbox controllers. I think they'd get just as much backlash, if not more if they decided to remove the AA option after all these years.
