I'm about 2 hours in in Flintlock and so far it's been enjoyable.

Unfortunately from their descriptions most ( not all)of those games sound awful. Oh dear.

Play the campaign via gamepass then dump the game. It's worthless to me otherwise.

This seems like a really good way to de-value your games.

If you buy a current series X plus a 1tb expansion drive wouldn't that cost the same as the new 2 Tb model coming out for Christmas?

No real savings or deals to be had there at all.
Maybe it's just to refresh the stock lines and try to stir up more interest in the systems last couple of years. I suppose 2tb is more convenient that the stock 1tb. Maybe ...

GAMEs failure can only be down to mis- management of their business practices.

One of the most egregious things GAME was doing was charging £5 to deliver something to you. If you chose to collect it from the local store instead they still charged £5 then gave you a £5 GAME voucher upon collection.

They should revert to an online only business model and start discounting games like Hit.co.uk and Amazon.

It seems to me that as mouse and keyboard can be so easily implemented on a games console it would be a good time to get WoW on Xbox and PS5. Possibly include it's sub price on with the current gamepass.

Plus theres a money spinner in making an exclusive WoW branded wireless mouse & keyboard that would work on consoles AND PC.

Give me proper Doom this time. Plenty of Ammo laying around all the time, weapons galore and not running out of ammo or being forced to go melee like Doom Eternal. That was just annoying

Skyrim is Bethesda's best RPG to date....after that Oblivion and Fallout 3 hold second place with Fallout 4 holding the third position jointly with Starfield. I think it's a fairly safe bet another Starfield will not be made unless it's shrunk down in size to be as playable as Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3&4 and not a game about load screens !

My Starfield playthru stopped at new game plus 2 with 270 hours on the clock. I can't see myself going back to it.

Skyrim , a 13 year old game I have completed multiple times since release is now being played with a new character and I'm enjoying it more than I did Starfield !

It's probably not the star wars game as from the footage shown it looks to be fairly well along .
My only problem with the star wars game is I'm really not sold on the female lead. Here's hoping she's more appealing and interesting when we get to play the game.

That said I never liked the Cal Kestis character and those two games were bloody awful. It was like someone forgot to add a few ingredients into the mix like "fun" and " interesting" then decided to really screw up the star wars licence by making the games play like soulsbornes. Talk about screwing up. Remember these are the Devs that have us the excellent Titanfall games !!!

That's a pretty awful selection of games. But I get it I suppose, you can't have good games without any bad ones to compare them to !!!

To find those games will be a bit of work but here's the solution I think. If the xbox360 game is backwards compatible with xb1 or series X look up the official backwards compatible list for those consoles. There are 100s of titles listed on that document. I had the same issue but I found my elusive game ..."Ilo & Milo" a great puzzle platformer.

Or look up your console purchase history .

Buy them games you want to keep as a physical edition. Digital versions of anything are fleeting at best and can be taken from you at anytime. Get in ebat , Amazon etc etc and buy your games physical and second hand. Control the game market to the best of YOUR ability. Do not let distribution companies control YOU.

Well I would imagine sales of that hugely expensive version of sniper elite game will TANK.

I like the sniper elite games but have never bought one full price as they ALWAYS seem expensive.

£20 is the price I aim for and I don't then mind if it's new or second hand at that price. Regards DLC. Don't lose any sleep over it. If the content is not in the standard edition then as far as I'm concerned it's not part of the game so will never get purchased anyway. The same goes for ALL DLC. DLC is a mugs game. Don't fall for it. Anyway over the next few weeks it's possible the vanilla edition of the game drop in price dramatically so keep your eyes open for that.

It's a fine series. It really is. But I've spent more time in various Ridge Racer games over the years. I really enjoy the zeppelin event in FH. What I don't enjoy is the fact the online co-op is still totally screwed so I'm doing them on my own. So for now at least, I'm not playing it.

I think a good solution for saving HD space on your series X would be to leave your Xbox one setup with an external HD attached and install the back compat games your want on that.

I would imagine this is just stability checks for the games as a few 360 games I've played on backwards compatibility ( ahem...looking at you Oblivion ) has crashed randomly on me... twice.
