I can't see the Funimation perk on the xbox game pass app. I do live in the UK so should be there right?

I'm not interested in the game but honestly I feel like the anger is justified. This is the equivalent of having a multi-platform pokemon game but not being able to get the most popular/famous evolution lines unless you're playing on a Nintendo console.

The move just feels petty. Either make it console exclusive or sell the entire game, don't lock parts of it behind consoles. You're essentially forcing someone who likes spiderman to buy a ps4 if they don't have one just to play as him.

A boycott may be overdoing it but there needs to be some form of repurcussions. Either way it starts with just one character, unchecked it could be a half the roster from a fighting game, or maybe an entire class of vehicles from a racing game etc. Especially if the devs see that people are buying the games multiple times (which lets be honest some people will).

Also yes considering it's the same game minus one character you are essentially buying an inferior version of the game for the same price as the full version. That's just gross. £50-60 for a game or £50-60 for the exact same game but with a few more hours worth of content.

I have 3DS, Switch, Xbox and PsVita. I have more digital games on the 3DS, Switch games are all physical, Xbox has a mix and PsVita is also a mix (though one or two more physical games).

While yes digital is convenient it just doesn't feel the same. I mean it's great that I can immediately switch games but there isn't that same feeling of anticipation where you get a game out of the box, put it in and boot it up. I guess it's more like a sense of nostalgia for old GBA and PS1 days. It's true there are no manuals etc so the excitement isn't as big when it comes to opening the game box itself but nowadays I believe pre-order bonuses are decent enough to distract from that.

I also prefer how physical versions look on the shelf, and there's a sense of accomplishment when I can see all of them there, knowing they're beaten. That same sense of accomplishment just isn't there with digital versions.

With the Xbox I'm a bit more willing to download digital copies but that's not because digital copies are better or anything, it's simply because the Xbox has so many fantastic deals. I mean yes I could get Saints row 4 physically for £40 or I could get it digitally with all dlc etc for £4.99 off the Xbox store. Plus Xbox1X having 1TB memory to start off with is really amazing.

Nintendo systems just aren't good for digital copies. They don't have the space for them, and yeah there are loads of games on the eshop that I want to play but if I don't like the game I can't resell it, I can't get a refund for it because Nintendo are really awful with that, I'm stuck with either deleting it, or having it sit on my console forever as a constant reminder of what a waste of time and resources it was. Eshop is more of a gamble due to the sheer number of indie games on there so it's more likely that this will happen.

I really hope game companies don't just give up on physical copies. But between covid, people generally being impatient, better (and bigger) discounts and sales online, increasing game costs...I think the number of physical copies will just go down until it's all digital. Which really sucks. :/

Not gonna lie, speaking as someone relatively new to xbox, I was more for Playstation (still prefer Nintendo over both) but honestly between Game Pass, Gold, this announcement, the games being released, number of discounts, xbox specs generally being incredible etc I must admit that Microsoft really know what they're doing.

Playstation so far has just been disappointing, which sucks because I was so excited to get a PS5. Nintendo is just....Nintendo. Not fantastic, not crap just balanced I guess.

I tried applying for this at the time and was rejected even though I could pay for it. Game blamed Klarna, Klarna blamed Game. Was just awful. Just ended up buying an xbox a few weeks later during black friday. Also from what I remember with the amount they were requesting you earn you could just flat out buy the xbox one x without any issue.

I was so excited to get the PS5 until I watched that trailer. I'm sorry but the design is triggering my OCD. I prefer physical copies of games. Additionally, the fans look to be exactly where dust would collect so yeah that's exactly what I need, an asthma attack from a game console after it launches all the dust right into my face.

I would say I prefer the xbox series x (and yes it looks better) but honestly I think I'd rather wait for the pro versions of both and hope for an improvement in design because so far not impressed at all.

Would love if they would let you dual-wield (as opposed to just dual-wielding for one special move) and if you could change the kyber crystals so that you had two lightsabers with different colours.

Otherwise I love this game and looking forward to taking on the combat challenges
