I kind of wish they would add some sort of stamina bar in for gears. The gameplay loop of bum rushing and wall jumping is just not that great. They should play with that a bit, maybe active reloads give a % boost to speeding up stamina recovery- stuff like that. The story is okay, I think most people have the opinion that a revival of the darker vibes of Gears would be welcomed. The franchise was born on that "mad world" vibe.
Left 4 Dead by itself with just a resolution/frames/graphics boost would be meh. If they did a Hitman type reboxing with both games and new features (console mods, rogue-like elements etc) then I would be down.
There best bet is to charge $5 a month because $60 a year is way more money than I would normally give them a year. I probably buy one Ubisoft game (with heavy discount) once every 1-2 years and even then their limited Game Pass offering has kept me satiated.
Sony knows they will lose because of this merger and they know it won't be blocked so the plan is just "might as well be a thorn in their side" because of it.
There is no appeasing Sony because they will never win anything from this acquisition. Sony could keep CoD for 100 years but they'll lose out what is really important and that's the public perception that CoD is a "Sony game". Whenever you see advertisements for CoD it's always tied to Playstation. It was like that for 360 before the late stage PS3 and PS4 dominated again. Sony is just going to have to shut up and take it.
Nintendo has nothing to lose by making the deal for obvious reasons.

Re: Rumour: Bethesda's Oblivion Re-Release Will Be 'Fully Remade' By Developer Virtuos
The unreal engine aspect seems kind of *****. I would expect a Halo CE remaster job with QoL sprinkled in before a complicated remake.

Re: Xbox-Owned Studio Double Fine Seemingly Has Two Projects In The Works
I wish they would reconsider on reviving the Banjo Kazooie franchise. Make it a Rare+Double Fine team up.
Re: Xbox Marketing Budget Reportedly 'Reduced' In The Wake Of Microsoft Layoffs
I haven't seen much in the sense of TV ads but I see Game Pass on the internet quite often.
Re: Rumour: A Potential 'Scalebound' Revival Is Being Spoken Of, Again
Sounds like a mid tier Platinum experience waiting to happen.
Re: Starfield 'Possibly' Delayed Out Of Xbox's First Half Of 2023 Release Window
The "we need our own show to present Starfield" was really meaning "we need to stall on our decision to move this 10 minute presentation to E3 or not"
Of course the Xbox subreddit will be livid with trolls and people denouncing Xbox forever.

Re: Phil Spencer Admits 'Something Had To Give' With Price Of First-Party Xbox Games
@Fenbops Did you have this comment in the can for 17ish years waiting for the games to change from $60 to $70? lol
