@Banjo- I also think that this wil be the case. Cloud as cheapest, a "Series S", and the a "Series X" of sorts. But time will tell.... Like with anything else.
I really hope so. I am not oblivious to the cost of parts now a days but I really hope they can hit that $799.99 sweat spot. $899.99 tops!. I am old enough to remember when Genesis was launched it was bout $200. That like $525 in todays money... so these systems were never really "cheap". There are other external factors that allowed us to purchase those systems easier back then. Now, inflation has honestly outpaced and meaning growth in earning and wages... Just my two cents. 😅
This is a FANTASTIC idea... I have been thinking about diving back into physical media and re-collecting some of my classics and of course some new games. I've already started with my Movies/TV and then heading to Music. Physical should ALWAYS be availible
@fatpunkslim Agreed. Thats what i got out of it. It's basically a space for Xbox to show what their platform has available for developers and what developers could stand to gain for building and bring their games to the platform. A lot of "dev speak" about coding and hardware advantages for thier projects. Here is to hoping Xbox can cater and nurture the future.
Sooo.... I can Play Rayman 2 (in this release), Rayman 3 and Rayman Origins (via BackCompat), and Rayman Legends! All On One Box!? Pretty legit! I remember playing 2 on the Dreamcast and 3 on the OG Xbox... back in the day
I mean... They are not wrong. From a strictly business POV, the more a customer engages with their product/services, the more the probability goes higher for making a purchase in the platform.
@Tdx This is how they test for users that travel frequently. I am one of those users. Any real device designers would take this into consideration in anticipation that maybe some of their customers actually travel frequently and woudl like to test how their devices would work in that particular scenerio.
