Multiple GTA 6 Gameplay Videos Appear To Have Leaked Online

It was all the way back in 2022 that GTA 6 suffered a major leak of in-progress gameplay footage, and it looks like something similar has happened today, with a bunch of new gameplay circulating across social media in particular.

We're not going to share the footage here for obvious reasons, but the initial clip appeared to show Jason playing basketball in his backyard, while the second clip showed off some driving and combat. More clips may yet surface.

Rockstar and Take-Two seem to be issuing takedown requests on this footage, which suggests it's real.

People are already doing their own detective work on where these clips might have originated from, and while nobody seems to have come to a conclusion yet, there's a belief that the footage itself is via a 2023 build of GTA 6.

In other words, while the curiosity around it is understandable, the catch is that it probably isn't representative of what we're going to play in November, or indeed of what we're going to see as part of the Netflix special next week.

With such a short amount of time to go until the blowout event on August 27th, we reckon you should avoid trying to locate the clips and not spoil the reveal with outdated footage that isn't particularly high quality anyway.

Oh, and in regards to that second potential catch, there are also some accounts that are trying to pass off fake footage as "new" GTA 6 leaks on social media today, and they're getting mixed in with the real thing. Don't go fooling yourself with fake gameplay - it's best just to wait for next Thursday and get ready for the proper GTA 6 unveiling!
