Got to love Id software, sticking to their pc roots of giving great value for money with a free update. I'd highly recommend the original Doom games as a very important part of game history
ODST is a good game, but I did feel a little disappointed at the time after coming off the high of Halo 3. it retrospect it has great halo gunplay and an interesting story from a new perspective. I really appreciate that they have kept it going as part of the master chief collection. Definitely worth a revisit.
Looking forward to getting this. Although I feel the price is a little too steep, so might wait for a discount around Wimbledon time. But so happy it reviewed well as we definitely needed a good tennis game.
Used some reward points to get it yesterday. I agree it is a steep price for the game compared to other recent releases such as Quake II. It should have been £/$15. So far though the game has been well remastered and holds up better than I thought it would from last playing it in 1995. The cut scenes and music are great. its a definite must have for Star Wars and retro fps shooters. Hopefully it'll discount fairly quickly for anyone waiting.
Happy Birthday XBOX !!. Many great memories of the original system Halo 1 and 2, Forza, KOTOR. Project Gotham Racing. Also a big shout out to extremely fun games Burnout 3 Takedown, Outrun Coast to Coast, Tiger Woods PGA tour etc
I played this about a year ago. Once you get into the mechanics of the loop aspect of the game it is pretty enjoyable, although some areas can be tedious it is a good game 👍.
I have been trying it again lately after never completing it almost 2 years ago. There is a lot to like about the ambition and scale of the game. However the driving controls and ai drives me mad, they seem to appear from nowhere and crash straight into you on missions. But overall I am enjoying my time in night city.
I enjoyed this game due to my love of alien and its lore. I thought it did it well. However gameplay can be a repetitive so a 7 is probably a fair reflection of the game. However if you are a fan of alien/aliens I recommend it.
Such great fun going back to these classic games. The scale and imagination in designing the aesthetics and sound design of the universe of Mass Effect is extraordinary. I hope to see some great films made of the series one day. These games are up there with greatest of all time, highly recommended especially to newcomers.
Am so envious of anyone that has never played through these games. This is a great collection and a must of any Halo or science fiction fan. Cannot wait for Halo Infinite.
Og Xbox - Outrun coast to coast or Burnout 3 takedown (I know am dreaming) Xbox360 - Binary Domain or Virtua tennis 4 Xbox one - Resident Evil 2 or Bioshock remastered
Like others have stated this is a brutal game at times, all your hard work can be undone from just clipping the smallest of rocks. I guess on one hand it is realistic to life, but from a gameplay point of view it can be infuriating. But hats off to codemasters this is still an excellent game and brings back the memories of the great Colin McRae games on the original Playstation.
Rockstar this game is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is awe inspiring. The game itself takes some adjusting too, the laconic setting and lifestyle. But once you do, and take your time exploring and relaxing it is magnificent. Tremendous weather effects. I did enjoy RDR a little Moore, but this is Highly recommended, especially fans of classic westerns and cinematography.
Might pick this up if it ever goes on sale. If Rock and Roll racing doesn't have all the licensed music I will stick to the SNES version. Cool game though.
This is a great hidden gem of a game, especially if you enjoy science fiction. The control mechanics are a little clunky, but it is a fun and memeroable campaign. one of which I return to once a year.
Having had this game a while now on series X, and taken my time playing it. I feel that the scope of the project is admirable, the production design of night city is astonishing. Some of the main storyline missions are well developed and fun. As others have mentioned there is a lot of shortcomings that will hopefully get ironed out eventually. I feel the game is highly overwhelming to start with, and a better implementation of game mechanics could have been presented to the player to help grasp the enormous amount of customisations within the game. In hindsight the game should have been delayed until ready, and only released on next gen systems to fully utilise the power of those systems. Hopefully Halo infinite will navigate this issue better than cyberpunk. As a fan of science fiction and cyberpunk I still would recommend this game.
Video looks good. Hopefully this will one day see a release, as in gaming terms it is legendary. The issue has to surely be with EA holding the license for Bond as I feel Nintendo and Microsoft have a good relationship and understand that fans want and always have wanted to see this happen. Even if we get this remastered version from 2007 it is better than nothing. It would be perfect for the Switch as well as Xbox. Fingers crossed.

Picked up Dirt 4 for around £4 after it left gamepads last month, it is a much better game than Dirt 5 and much more replay value.

I second Bubble Bobble Neo, Burnout 3 Takedown, Binary Domain, I would also love to see Outrun online back, and Daytona USA. Make it happen Microsoft!
