Re: Review: Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster (Xbox) - Solid '90s Shooter Shines In Slick Nightdive Revamp

Used some reward points to get it yesterday. I agree it is a steep price for the game compared to other recent releases such as Quake II. It should have been £/$15. So far though the game has been well remastered and holds up better than I thought it would from last playing it in 1995. The cut scenes and music are great. its a definite must have for Star Wars and retro fps shooters. Hopefully it'll discount fairly quickly for anyone waiting.

Like others have stated this is a brutal game at times, all your hard work can be undone from just clipping the smallest of rocks. I guess on one hand it is realistic to life, but from a gameplay point of view it can be infuriating. But hats off to codemasters this is still an excellent game and brings back the memories of the great Colin McRae games on the original Playstation.

Rockstar this game is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is awe inspiring. The game itself takes some adjusting too, the laconic setting and lifestyle. But once you do, and take your time exploring and relaxing it is magnificent. Tremendous weather effects. I did enjoy RDR a little Moore, but this is Highly recommended, especially fans of classic westerns and cinematography.

This is a great hidden gem of a game, especially if you enjoy science fiction. The control mechanics are a little clunky, but it is a fun and memeroable campaign. one of which I return to once a year.

Re: Review: Cyberpunk 2077 - Packed With Potential, But Desperately In Need Of Some TLC

Having had this game a while now on series X, and taken my time playing it. I feel that the scope of the project is admirable, the production design of night city is astonishing. Some of the main storyline missions are well developed and fun. As others have mentioned there is a lot of shortcomings that will hopefully get ironed out eventually. I feel the game is highly overwhelming to start with, and a better implementation of game mechanics could have been presented to the player to help grasp the enormous amount of customisations within the game. In hindsight the game should have been delayed until ready, and only released on next gen systems to fully utilise the power of those systems. Hopefully Halo infinite will navigate this issue better than cyberpunk. As a fan of science fiction and cyberpunk I still would recommend this game.

Video looks good. Hopefully this will one day see a release, as in gaming terms it is legendary. The issue has to surely be with EA holding the license for Bond as I feel Nintendo and Microsoft have a good relationship and understand that fans want and always have wanted to see this happen. Even if we get this remastered version from 2007 it is better than nothing. It would be perfect for the Switch as well as Xbox. Fingers crossed.
