Re: Phil Spencer Says Xbox Is Done Trying To Convince PS5 & Switch Players To Move Over

Xbox is my fill-in-the-blank console. Functional versions of F.E.A.R. 1, The Orange Box, Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Oblivion... boosted versions of Dishonored, Death of the Outsider, Dishonored 2, and Prey. Far Cry games that performed poorly on PS3 or don't quite play nice with PS5. Dead Island Definitive and Riptide where 60FPS is a godsend and quick-time events actually work. The console definitely has a use case for me, but it will always be a sidekick.

PS5 for most third-party stuff, PS5 Pro enhancements when that comes out, and if a game utilizes DualSense features.

Series X for exclusives, FPS Boost, and backwards-compatibility (being able to avoid the slow and glitchy PS3 versions of Fallout 3/New Vegas, Orange Box, and F.E.A.R. make the console worth it by itself)

Switch for exclusives, pixel games, visual novels, and the rare case where Switch has a definitive version of a game (Bastion, Deadly Premonition, Trails to Zero/from Azure)

PS3 for exclusives, 7th Gen games not available on Series X, PS2 and PS1.

It's hilarious to think that the dastardly Sony used their unfair power and influence to... plant a reviewer on an Xbox fansite to mildly irritate the readers.

Anyway, I'm still undecided on the main game because as much as I love space and RPGs, I have no experience with Bethesda games. You can find brand new copies on eBay for $20. Might take a punt.
