If you head over to the "Subscriptions" tab in the Settings menu on your Xbox console, you'll sometimes find that certain tasks can't be performed via this menu directly, and you end up getting redirected to a browser instead.
Xbox is working to remedy this however, with a new update allowing you to change your subscription's plan or update the recurring billing status via your console. This should make the process much easier and less time consuming.
"We have enabled the option to change your plan or update the recurring billing status directly from your console. To get started, head to Settings > Account > Subscriptions."
The only Xbox users who will see this option for now are Alpha Skip-Ahead members of the Xbox Insider ring, with the full public release set to take place in the near future. It should be live for everyone within a few weeks.
So yeah, it's only a small change here, but it should make a big difference for those who are often making adjustments to their subscriptions on Xbox. It's always nice to see the team making these neat quality-of-life improvements!
