@Quasicat Really?Ive been on Xbox since 360 era and got 230k. My friends(real life) are tpically in 150k and none of them actually care or go for achievements. With the amount of shovelware out there, you can actually get millions of GS in like a day if you wanted to. I only care about 100% every game I play
@Darylb88 Thats not the problem though. Even though the License is on the disc, If I grab a Ps4 or XBO game, I can still play those offline with no internet. Many games out there dor Series system play on the One and PS4 and are playable offline.
There is really no reason for the Series S to not have a disc drive. Like how much do they actually cost these days $15? People are going to be hesitent to buy a machine that has no value when it is no longer supported. If Live ever gets removed from the series S or even games that can be played, the box becomes a paper weight.
It is hard to get into Infinite. 343 botched launch really hurt the game and they have spent what? 2 years just getting it to the point where it should have been at launch.
Not to mention the game breaks every damn time they update it to fix something. Since Season 2 I have not been able to complete a Legendary playthrough because the game is not recognizing The Sequence and one other level as beeing completed on Legendary. Registers as Easy even on a fresh playthrough. The game ultimately overpromised and underdelivered. It isnt a terrible game by any means but for an Open World Halo game, It should have been a slam dunk for best game in the series
@xMightyMatt14x Disgaree. Halo 4 was actually really good. One of my favourites in the series. Campaign was great. MP not so much but I ignore MP when talking Halo because MP eventually dies anyways.
I didnt hate 5. It had flaws like the way that it told the story. #1 being that Locke was kind of the main character in this game and after years playing as MC people werent as open to a new character. Perhaps if they used a known charcter like Buck or Sara it might have been recieved better.
The other thing that hurt it which kind contradicts my earlier point but I think it is a valid point, is the inclusion of MC. Now you may think im crazy for saying that but in terms of what the plot of the story was I felt ruined the story to have you hunting the Chief for going Rogue while actually playing as Chief knowing he isnt going Rogue. It would have been a much more compelling story if we believed MC had been compromised by his feelings for Cortana.
The problem with Infinite is I dont think it can ever get a fair shake. 343 absolutely botched the launch with soured everyones opinion of the game when in fact the launch has nothing to do with how the game actually is. The open world aspect is pretty cool and the story is a bit interesting albeit really short. Biggest mistake was probably how little variation we get with the map, and the amount of repetitive side missions. Side missions get a bit old fairly quick. The strongholds at least have some variation in them but all the Fobs, VIP, UNSC Recues, Propaganda towers ect all get really repetitive and feel like a chore.
@Tharsman I disagree. Unobtainables ruin games. Sea of Theives is a perfect example. I never played it and I am being punished for because I didnt have Gamepass when it launched. I have zero reason to play this game now because I can no longer complete the achievement list. There is a long list of games I would have liked to play that I never had a chance to but with unobtainables, there is no reason to start them.

Re: The Xbox Live Gold To Game Pass 'Conversion Ratio' Has Gotten Worse
So what does 3 years of Gold get you now when converted to Gamepass Ultimate? 2 years?

Remember how Sony was all bent out of shape that Microsoft would make CoD perform worse on Playstation........ Pot calling the Kettle
