The big release of Resident Evil Requiem officially comes our way this Friday, and before we get there, we've already got footage of how the game plays on both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S!

We're once again using Fuzion Xbox Testing for this footage, which has shown off the Series X and Series S versions separately. Don't forget we've reviewed the game (on Series S) here at Pure Xbox too:

On Xbox Series X, Resident Evil Requiem is suggested to run at a native 1080p resolution upscaled to 4K, culminating in what's described as "the most immersive as well as downright stunning-looking Resident Evil game to date". In the roughly five minutes' worth of performance testing in this clip, there are only the most minor of dips below 60FPS.

On Xbox Series S, the native output is believed to be 720p (upscaled to 1440p), but the visuals still look pretty good in our book, and again, the performance sticks to 60FPS in this footage. We gave Resident Evil Requiem a 9/10 based on the Series S version, so we were perfectly happy with it!

If you're interested, Resident Evil Requiem is available to pre-order via the Xbox Store right now at a price of £64.99 / $69.99, and we've also got a guide to all the release times and install size info elsewhere on Pure Xbox.

We'll leave you with Fuzion Xbox Testing's two videos of Resident Evil Requiem down below:
