Series S is more than enough for every video game you could ever want. PS4 is too. You have to get as low-power as Switch 1 in portable mode to start running into major challenges, so these ***** can honestly shove it up their ass.
I'm tired of hearing this ***** that we """need""" the newest hardware just to play the same ***** we can already play.
Xbox hasn't really been a thing since the 360 era. Not sure they still make any exclusives, or even any games really, anymore. Beyond Forza anyway... So nothing they would do I would ever be interested in.
Back in the OG Xbox and 360 eras, they had lots of unique exclusives, including plenty of awesome Japanese stuff. Think the last one they did I was genuinely interested in was ReCore... which was like over a decade ago.
Idk what dumb ***** Xbox is gonna do next and it probably doesn't really matter. I don't think Project Helix will functionally be a console anyway.
As for PS6, it's gonna have to wait like 4 or 5 years at least, just because no exclusive software will exist for it anytime soon (if ever lmao).
Either way, I really don't care. I'll be happy with my PS4, Switch, and Switch 2 forever, honestly. At least until some extremely major changes happen and video games get substantially different to what they are now.
Sounds horrible even if the console was priced at $500, let alone the $1000+ this will allegedly be. I'll be interested to see who they can actually find to sell this thing to, lmfao.
This does sound like just a rebrand of the trajectory they already had then, I think. Don't see much positive here in terms of the changes needed to continue as a major console maker. Unfortunate.
I don't know for certain how good Forza is. They certainly make a lot of them, but are they really all worth playing? Sometimes it feels more like a sports title to me.
Meanwhile, you have series like Wipeout or Mario Kart that have quite a few completely original games in them that don't simply overwrite (or attempt to overwrite) what was done before. I do think Forza probably has some of the best traditional racers in there somewhere, but so does Need for Speed and one-offs like Driveclub or Quantum Redshift. So, while I'm sure Forza as a series easily beats out Gran Turismo or The Crew or games like that, I don't think it's as good as the best in the genre when taking the whole series into account.
My personal choice is honestly Mario Kart, but Wipeout has slightly higher highs and lower lows, so is a great runner-up. Honorable mention to Driveclub and F-Zero X.

Re: Rumour: Project Helix Unlikely To Include Disc Drive, But Xbox May Have A Digital Solution
@S1ayeR74 I'd even argue it's hundreds of millions, personally.

I've been seeing the opposite, but I guess this is a way to cope 😅
Re: Xbox Delays Fable To February 2027, And It's Basically Because Of GTA 6
Who even cares anymore. They needed this game like 6-7 years ago...

Re: Asha Sharma Says Xbox Is Investing To Make Series X|S Consoles A 'First-Class Experience Again'
Does it matter at this point? The consoles already priced themselves out of existence and there's no current reason to invest in a dying platform...

If they don't have disc drives, I'm not sure how that would work.
