@Dusk_Actual Biggest reason I want the X is the disc drive. Our library gets about every new game which saves a lot of money in the long run. Because unless it's a huge multiplayer or a game like Fallout or something chances are I'll just run through it quickly. They give us 2 games at a time with up to like 3 weeks to return and no late fees ever so it's pretty great. But yeah I'm just going to chill out and play the S for a while then I'm sure I'll figure something out.
@BlueOcean It was credit I actually purchased overtime for the X. Worst decision as it limited me to Microsoft Store. I did it as my way of ensuring I spent the money on the Series X but ultimately may be why I was unable to get one. Well that and the stock shortage I never saw coming, I was on everyday since midnight at launch trying to buy an X. But ay I don't really care anymore lol.
Holy crap nuggets I just won but lost at the same time! So I already have a Series S but had the money on my Microsoft account for an X. Well after months of trying to get an X I gave up after being influenced by this sale. I saw lots of deals I wanted but didn't have money for. So long story short Series S was available so I bought a second one and spent 200 on games. But now I have 2 Series S and no Series X smh haha. But I got Vahalla, Cyberpunk, Avengers, Legions, Prototype 1&2, Mafia Trilogy, Mad Max, Dead Island& Riptide definitive, WWE playgrounds, and Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate. Plus had just got Dying Light Platinum. Hey may not have the Series X but I am about as loaded as it gets on games! Biggest downside is the LG Nano 4k 120hz tv I bought for the X months back. I already had a 4k tv and could have bought a 120hz monitor much cheaper. Anyway it's still a nice tv with the S and I can sell or keep the other S. May keep one in my bedroom and one in the living room or for guests so my gaming friends don't have to bring consoles over. In the end Im relieved of worrying about finding an X. It's been a burden on my time and energy ultimately taking away from a positive gaming experience. And I didn't really have enhanced games and now I do so I am ready to just have fun and game, because that is what it's about. I would have been happy on my OG Xbox. This whole experience trying to buy my first new console during drop was a nightmare , I'm ready to be content with what I have. Which is quite a bit of new stuff lol.

Plus had just got Dying Light Platinum. Hey may not have the Series X but I am about as loaded as it gets on games! Biggest downside is the LG Nano 4k 120hz tv I bought for the X months back. @BlueOcean Yes, albeit I was alot younger, the first Red Dead Redemption was like my favorite story game ever until Elder Scrolls Skyrim came out. It made me cry my eyes out haha. And I just really life the Mafia stories and vibes, not the best with combat but it's all about the story. They are can't miss for those intrigued by the era and Goodfellas type movies.
I have a Series S I got in November so I figured Cyberpunk should run fine, but good point, maybe I should wait for the X/S version. I'll be getting an X when available as I've had the funds on my MS account for 7 months now but for all I know it could be another six months. But my Series S does have auto HDR and Dolby Vision with my LG NANO 85 and more stable frames. It really improves older games so I was thinking it would be great to replay the first Red Dead Redemption. But a remaster or FPS boost would be even better. I've tried 3 times to get into Witcher 3 and was never pulled in by the story or characters but I really want to like the game. I recently bought it really cheap so I wonder if the upgrade will be free?
I really splurged on the consoles and my new TV and may sell the Series S eventually if I don't keep it as a backup. Before it I had the OG Xbox One. I typically buy a lot of games with Microsoft points so I look to save as much as possible on games.
@BlueOcean Doubt it will happen but it'd be cool to see Cyberpunk on sale for 30 or 40 dollars. The disc has been that price at Target and Best Buy recently but my console doesn't have a disc drive. Red Dead Redemption would be nice to see on sale for like 10 dollars, I have wanted it for a while but don't feel like paying 30 dollars for a non remake of a game I beat in high school ten years ago.
I'd like Fallout 4s season pass to be listed for less than the dang complete edition. They always do that it's so annoying when you own the game but not the DLCs.
@BlueOcean Yeah I am pretty picky with what I like and already own over 100 Xbox games not including years of Games with Gold games so it's hard to find new stuff I like on sale. Although I haven't played the 1st Mafia since I was a little kid and it was too hard to beat then so I'd like the remaster if it's on sale again. I beat Mafia 2 five or six times and beat the 3rd one. I'd play Mafia 2 again but I've hesitated on the Trilogy because I already own Mafia 3 with all DLC.
I've never played Dying Light and just got the new Platinum edition marked from 100 to 25 dollars a few days ago. So I should be entertained either way if I am able to get into and like it.
@BlueOcean He's not wrong, it's always the same games on sale and has been for over a year or two. Alot of good games but from the same bunch that is always on sale. Just like the big winter sale, it was all stuff that had been on sale all throughout the year. So I had pretty much grabbed everything I wanted from that selection. I guess there are just developers that participate in sales and ones that don't. I'm not sure what I'd like but anything but the typical selection. But I'm still excited, I am sure there will be a few things for me to consider.
