It seems like it causes more problems than it’s worth. In Fenyx Rising it will often cause the game to crash in the menus mode. For games that require online connection (Injustice 2 and NHL 20 are the two I’ve played recently), I have to fully quit out of the game before able to reconnect online.
Other games it sometimes works and other times not. It’s not clear why or how it chooses to quick resume.
@carlos82 There are times when it’s fine and looks great, but when there’s a lot of movement or a lot of effects (say during PvP or an island with waterfalls) the screen tearing is pretty constant.
I’d be happy if they allowed a 30fps option for those who would rather not have screen tearing.
Honestly, I wish they'd add a quality mode to drop it back down to 30FPS. The 60FPS upgrade with the series x introduced SOOOOO much screen tearing that wasn't there before (my TV doesn't have VRR). Yes, it looks much smoother at 60FPS, but the screen tearing drives me nuts.

Re: Poll: How Long Will MLB The Show 21 Remain On Xbox Game Pass?
I anticipate it lasting through the end of the MLB season, so October.

And here I am still considering Antonio Banderas’ Zorro the “new Zorro.”

Re: Sea Of Thieves Adds 120FPS Performance Mode On Xbox Series X
@Zochmenos Crook’s Hollow causes the screen tear a lot, along with pretty much every island in the Devil’s Roar since the geysers start going off.
