@LX_FENIX If they were desperate they would have gotten a Series S by now. More likely is that they have to make a choice for one console and that choice was Playstation, doesnt mean there arent Xbox exclusive games they want to play.
Thanks for the review! Given the decent scores I’ll give this a try but not before its on GamePass or Plus. There are so many games to play I know I’ll enjoy so theres no need to pay extra for games I’m unsure of.
Final Fantasy 16 Still mainly playing this amazing game. I havent been this hooked on a FF game since the original FF 7! Close to the end of the story, but dragging it on a bit by doing the not so great side missions etc. Might as well go for the platinum trophy down the line, just cause its such a good game imo.
TLOU 2 - got the upgrade and tried it out just to see how it plays and it feels and looks really great, but it then already did that. Still, perfect excuse to play it again, but not yet. Will play the part 1 remake first 🙂
Vertigo 2 VR havent really played it since Im all in on FF 16 but I tried it for maybe half an hour and it seems really fun so I'll go all in on this next.
Final Fantasy XVI - Im really enjoying it and I really like the story. The game is a bit unevenly paced though, the epic parts followed by slow parts with pretty uninteresting quests maybe could have been done better. And the sidequests are not the highlights of the game…. It really looks great this game, both artistically and technically very impressive. Great game all in all, cant wait to play more and find out where the story goes.
Hot Wheels 2 - needed a game in between when not able to play for very long and Hot Wheels 2 fits in perfect. Is basically more of the same, so if you liked the first game you’ll like this one but dont expect much more than that.
I’ve put Prince of Persia on the to-play list, liked the demo thats out. Also might pick up Vertigo 2 for VR as a game in between sessions of FF 16
This is in many ways just a list of games a lot of people played, read games on GamePass, and maybe not indicative of the quality of the games thenselves. Like having Starfield at the top is the perfect example of this, its a good game but is it the best game released in 2023? Nah
I´ve finished it and my playtime was at around 60 hours, it started great but it felt mediocre in the end and even if the concept of new game + is really cool I dont see myself playing it again as I dont see them fix all the things that bugged me. Far from Bethesdas best game imo.
Im really enjoying the game. Yes,the story may not be the best ever but Pandora is so amazing and so fitting for the Far Cry formula of hunting and gathering along with the gameplay and mechanics that I dont even think about it being Far Cryish, if you get what Im trying to say. Also, taking out bases etc is fun.
I´ve been trying to get some points for rewards but it already felt like a chore before these nerfs and changes so I might just give up. It was pretty generous though, so kind of expected to see this.
If you think a short campaign meant to be dlc with an abrupt ending that doesnt conclude ***** is good, great for you. If thats the new bar set for CoD, enjoy the future.
Spider-Man 2 - Wow! This game is so much fun to play. The story, the humor, the details are really good. Swinging is superfast, gliding is a superb addition and the slingshots are great. The graphics are super. Is it more of the same? Basically yes, but its such an upgrade I dont mind having already played two Spidey games in New York.
Playing this game just puts a smile on my face 😁
Dead Space - just started dead space on the Series S, really promising start.
Still all in on Cyberpunk 2077, near the end of Phantom Liberty. ***** me this is a good game now, especially with the 2.0 update. CDPR manages to create a world that looks great and creates an awesome illusion of a living and detailed world if you dont look to deep, butwhere the game truly shines imo is the storytelling and interactions with some of the characters and all the feelings it evokes and some of the choices one must make. And the small things, like getting texts from Panam just checking in, phone calls from someone you did a gig for a while back etc etc. Also, the story in Phantom Menace is great so far.
Cyberpunk is very high on my list of favorite games now 😀
Cyberpunk 2077 - I’ve gone all in on this game. I absolutely love it 😁 the changes to skills and cyberware and how easy it is to respec makes it really fun to play around and explore different builds. Im currently playing as a cyberware ninja, its awesome. Just made it to Dogtown, seems really promising.
Starfield – I´ve finished the game since last week. Its good, very good at times, the main story is pretty cool but some of the side quests are better. Also the best NG+ setting I´ve seen. But I also feel very done with the game and dont think I´ll be playing it again, at least for a few years. Its very hard to not think about what this game could have been with a better engine, less loading screens, less fast traveling (no its not totally optional to skip) less menus, etc etc. But it is what it is.
Joe Wander – picked this up in the sale as a palette cleanser and its a pretty fun platformer. Controls are a bit lacking sometimes but the puzzling is fun and the settings are great.
Cyberpunk 2077 – I´ve been looking forward to update 2.0 and started a new game last night. I’ve only played for like an hour so cant say much yet but it feels like the stability and performance are much improved, and from what I’ve read about the gameplay tweaks this is going to be great. I mean I already loved the game before so this might end up high on my top list of best games ever.
great review, thanks! Ill be starting a new playthrough this weekend and then play the DLC. Loved the game before so with all the improvements its going to be awesome!
@Ep_13 MS would ruin what Nintendo does thats great and unique. MS should focus on what they have and make those studios perform great and produce awesome games. But ffs, keep them off Nintendo
Starfield - I think Im nearing the end of the main story, will probably wrap up some side missions first as I found them to be the best missions the game has to offer. But after that Im done. And I dont think I’ll replay it as I often do with Bethesdas RPGs, just dont see myself enjoying it enough. Not a bad game at all, its very good most of the time even with all the issues, its just not a great game imo.
The Crew Motorfest - played the trial for a bit. Very positively surprised at how good it was, like a mix of Forza Horizon and Need for Speed. Will be playing this one for sure.
Starfield - its a good game and Im enjoying it but there are some issues. It really is fallout in space, not a bad thing but feels like a reskin basically (not really, bit harsh that maybe). Feels like I’ll play the main missions and bigger side missions but then move on to other games. Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 I’ve played so many times, but Fallout 4 only once and probably the same with Starfield. Feels like Bethesda needs to change things for the next Elder Scrolls or it might not be all that good.
Edit - I wrote feels a lot. Feels ok though so not editing that 😁
Nice review, Im really enjoying the game but the menus, loading screens all the time, plastic faces, traveling constantly being a bit of a mess etc makes it a less enjoyable than I would have hoped. But then there are things the game does very, very good. So 8,5/10 for me at this point, which is very solid and a very polished game at release for Bethesda
I’ve had little time to game this week but continuing with Hubris on PSVR 2, enjoying it. Also tried the update for No Mans Sky, which made an already amazing game in VR even better 😀
Also waiting for Starfield so not starting any big games before that.
@RetroMan71 its not impossible to find games online in BF 2 but not always in the preferred gamemode etc. Sometimes I play vs bots just to get my Star Wars fix, works great 😊
Everspace 2 is improved with the patch but a bit unsure for how long its enjoyable for me, might wear thin pretty quick. But also a great game to play in small doses 😀
Deliver us Mars – since last week I´ve finished and platinumed it. Great story imo, despite some technical issues and janky controls I really enjoyed it a lot.
PSVR 2 - finally reunited with my PSVR 2. Been playing some GT 7 and other games, but also picked up Hubris. It looks really good, controls could be a bit better but Im enjoying it.
Everspace 2 – gave it a whirl but the stutter was to much. Havent tried it after the patch but heard it got fixed so will go back.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 – so I started the campaign on the Series S while waiting for downloads to complete. Been wanting to replay it for some time, it still looks really good and its still fun.
Also, been playing the make space for Starfield on my series S internal drive game. Very difficult and not very fun game that, can not recommend.
Probably the best month for Gamepass ever, at least since I started subscribing. God damnit I hope Starfield is playable without too many bugs and issues 🤩
Im enjoying EG as well as PX, Pushsquare etc, but EG not being a dedicated console site can make all the fanboy wars a bit much at times. But also a bit entertaining sometimes

Re: Poll: How Excited Are You For Diablo 4 On Xbox Game Pass?
I’ll give it a go but its not really my kind of game so I dont have any high expectations.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 16-17)
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for me, its so damn good. On chapter 7 and taking my time, they made a special game for sure!

@Player_1_Ready so, when will that happen?

Yeah yeah Im still waiting for CoD to come to gamepass…….
Re: Do You Agree With The 10 Highest-Rated Xbox Series X|S Games Of All Time?
@AlwaysPlaying Nah, Starfield wont get higher scores on any other console cause its just not that good.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 9-10)
Im mainly playing FF 7 Rebirth which is awesome!
Im also playing a bit of Hellblade here and there as Im looking forward to Hellblade 2 so I plan on being done by the time that hits gamepass
Re: Three Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (February 22)
Ooooh, Dead Island 2 is a nice addition. Thanks 🤓

Re: Review: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - A Mostly Fun Time That Relies Too Much On Past Triumphs
@Nintendo4Sonic i play CoD mainly for the campaigns, like some easy blockbuster action every now and then, and maybe some multiplayer.
If they´re not gonna bother making great campaigns like they used to then imo they should just make multiplayer and zombies.
Re: Starfield Fails To Make Shortlist For 'Game Of The Year' At The Game Awards 2023
While Starfield was good, but it had too many flaws to be up there with games like Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2 or Spider-Man 2.
Re: Review: Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - A Mostly Fun Time That Relies Too Much On Past Triumphs
@Nintendo4Sonic no, it never crossed my mind.

I dont know, reading you calling the campaign good but short after the complete massacre of it from other sites….
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 11-12)
Playing Dead Space remake on my Series S. Really good game!
Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying Baldur's Gate 3 For Xbox Series X|S?
I’ll get it eventually but for the PS5 as I feel the extra horsepower over my Series S will make a big difference. Unless it hits gamepass of course!!

Re: Pick One: Which Is The Best Bethesda Game Studios RPG?

I’ll play it once its on GP 🤓

Its a bit dissapointing but hopefully its still a great game.
Will sit this one out however, VR racers are to good in comparison and I cant play sim racers on flat screen anymore

Re: Xbox 'Game Pass Core' Reportedly Replacing Xbox Live Gold This September
This would end the possibility to stack 3 years if gold and upgrade to GP? Ms loving faster than I expected if so
Re: Talking Point: Are You Looking Forward To The New Forza Motorsport This Year?
No, not looking as good as GT 7 which also has VR (which is kind of cheating really, cant beat that) but might give FM a swirl anyway since its on GP
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 1-2)
Mainly TofK, hard to have another story-based game besides Zelda but I’ve also been playing some NFS Unbound in shorter sessions
Re: Review: Bramble: The Mountain King - A Dark And Twisted Scandinavian Fairy-Tale Creeps Onto Xbox Game Pass
Very good review, pretty spot on. Played this, its def worth playing imo with flaws and all
Re: These Seven Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (June 22 - July 5)
I’ll be trying NFS, see if its any good. I’ve been spoiled with VR racing though so we’ll see.
Dont miss Bramble, short but good. And grim.

@Ep_13
Hey Ep! Nice to see you here, probably a better fit for you than Eurogamer 🙂
Yeah Redfall shouldnt have been released in the state it did. They might fix bugs and fps but the core game was also very lacking sadly.
Redfall 2? Nah, rather they didnt 😂
