Final Fantasy 16 Still mainly playing this amazing game. I havent been this hooked on a FF game since the original FF 7! Close to the end of the story, but dragging it on a bit by doing the not so great side missions etc. Might as well go for the platinum trophy down the line, just cause its such a good game imo.

TLOU 2 - got the upgrade and tried it out just to see how it plays and it feels and looks really great, but it then already did that. Still, perfect excuse to play it again, but not yet. Will play the part 1 remake first 🙂

Vertigo 2 VR havent really played it since Im all in on FF 16 but I tried it for maybe half an hour and it seems really fun so I'll go all in on this next.

Final Fantasy XVI - Im really enjoying it and I really like the story. The game is a bit unevenly paced though, the epic parts followed by slow parts with pretty uninteresting quests maybe could have been done better. And the sidequests are not the highlights of the game…. It really looks great this game, both artistically and technically very impressive. Great game all in all, cant wait to play more and find out where the story goes.

Hot Wheels 2 - needed a game in between when not able to play for very long and Hot Wheels 2 fits in perfect. Is basically more of the same, so if you liked the first game you’ll like this one but dont expect much more than that.

I’ve put Prince of Persia on the to-play list, liked the demo thats out. Also might pick up Vertigo 2 for VR as a game in between sessions of FF 16

This is in many ways just a list of games a lot of people played, read games on GamePass, and maybe not indicative of the quality of the games thenselves. Like having Starfield at the top is the perfect example of this, its a good game but is it the best game released in 2023? Nah

Re: Poll: Four Months Later, Are You Still Playing Starfield?

I´ve finished it and my playtime was at around 60 hours, it started great but it felt mediocre in the end and even if the concept of new game + is really cool I dont see myself playing it again as I dont see them fix all the things that bugged me. Far from Bethesdas best game imo.

Spider-Man 2 - Wow! This game is so much fun to play. The story, the humor, the details are really good. Swinging is superfast, gliding is a superb addition and the slingshots are great. The graphics are super. Is it more of the same? Basically yes, but its such an upgrade I dont mind having already played two Spidey games in New York.

Playing this game just puts a smile on my face 😁

Dead Space - just started dead space on the Series S, really promising start.

Still all in on Cyberpunk 2077, near the end of Phantom Liberty. ***** me this is a good game now, especially with the 2.0 update. CDPR manages to create a world that looks great and creates an awesome illusion of a living and detailed world if you dont look to deep, butwhere the game truly shines imo is the storytelling and interactions with some of the characters and all the feelings it evokes and some of the choices one must make. And the small things, like getting texts from Panam just checking in, phone calls from someone you did a gig for a while back etc etc. Also, the story in Phantom Menace is great so far.

Cyberpunk is very high on my list of favorite games now 😀

Starfield – I´ve finished the game since last week. Its good, very good at times, the main story is pretty cool but some of the side quests are better. Also the best NG+ setting I´ve seen. But I also feel very done with the game and dont think I´ll be playing it again, at least for a few years. Its very hard to not think about what this game could have been with a better engine, less loading screens, less fast traveling (no its not totally optional to skip) less menus, etc etc. But it is what it is.

Joe Wander – picked this up in the sale as a palette cleanser and its a pretty fun platformer. Controls are a bit lacking sometimes but the puzzling is fun and the settings are great.

Cyberpunk 2077 – I´ve been looking forward to update 2.0 and started a new game last night. I’ve only played for like an hour so cant say much yet but it feels like the stability and performance are much improved, and from what I’ve read about the gameplay tweaks this is going to be great. I mean I already loved the game before so this might end up high on my top list of best games ever.

Starfield - I think Im nearing the end of the main story, will probably wrap up some side missions first as I found them to be the best missions the game has to offer. But after that Im done. And I dont think I’ll replay it as I often do with Bethesdas RPGs, just dont see myself enjoying it enough. Not a bad game at all, its very good most of the time even with all the issues, its just not a great game imo.

The Crew Motorfest - played the trial for a bit. Very positively surprised at how good it was, like a mix of Forza Horizon and Need for Speed. Will be playing this one for sure.

Starfield - its a good game and Im enjoying it but there are some issues. It really is fallout in space, not a bad thing but feels like a reskin basically (not really, bit harsh that maybe). Feels like I’ll play the main missions and bigger side missions but then move on to other games. Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 I’ve played so many times, but Fallout 4 only once and probably the same with Starfield. Feels like Bethesda needs to change things for the next Elder Scrolls or it might not be all that good.

Edit - I wrote feels a lot. Feels ok though so not editing that 😁

@RetroMan71 its not impossible to find games online in BF 2 but not always in the preferred gamemode etc. Sometimes I play vs bots just to get my Star Wars fix, works great 😊

Everspace 2 is improved with the patch but a bit unsure for how long its enjoyable for me, might wear thin pretty quick. But also a great game to play in small doses 😀

Deliver us Mars – since last week I´ve finished and platinumed it. Great story imo, despite some technical issues and janky controls I really enjoyed it a lot.

PSVR 2 - finally reunited with my PSVR 2. Been playing some GT 7 and other games, but also picked up Hubris. It looks really good, controls could be a bit better but Im enjoying it.

Everspace 2 – gave it a whirl but the stutter was to much. Havent tried it after the patch but heard it got fixed so will go back.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 – so I started the campaign on the Series S while waiting for downloads to complete. Been wanting to replay it for some time, it still looks really good and its still fun.

Also, been playing the make space for Starfield on my series S internal drive game. Very difficult and not very fun game that, can not recommend.

Re: Todd Howard Says Starfield Is 'Great' On Xbox Series S

mac_da_man

Not that he would say anything else, would he? I´ll be playing on the Series S and if its locked to 30 fps it´s all I expected for that console.

However, the lack of an 60 fps option for series X is not really a good look.

Those of you comparing it to Redfall, its competely different games. Redfall needed to be 60 fps. But even so, its a really bad game.
