Is "stream your own game" supported at essential and premium levels of game pass now that they offer cloud gaming? I don't know if its just a feature of cloud gaming so now applies to all the same tiers, or was its own separate thing. Like most I'm going to be downgrading my sub from ultimate to premium or essential, so it would be nice if I can still stream my own games when that time comes.

I use remote play on steam deck far too frequently, so I keep using standby mode

The vast majority of people who will play the game do not understand the concept of quality and performance modes. This only matters to news outlets to generate something to complain about, and the diehard fanbase that follow these websites and "need" 60 fps in their games. If they need 60 fps they should be buying a maxed out pc, the games industry realised that the general public don't care about frame rate long ago and made 30 the standard.

meh - for the past few weeks the rewards app refuses to even open for me. that coupled with about a month ago it stopped registering achievements. I reported to rewards support and got my streak reinstated and they could detect the achievements i scored and provided me with the relevant points...but I really cba to do that every few weeks cos their system just doesnt work.

Also the xbox app on my phone will only load the quests when I try to load it on a mobile connection, if on wifi it just doesnt work. It feels like they are intentionally sabotaging rewards so people stop claiming free money

@Kloppo unlikely, it doesnt play PC games. The steam deck competitors are things like gpd win 4 and aya neo 2, other handheld pcs.

This is trying to be a competitor to other android based gaming handhelds like the logitech g cloud.

Its a phone without calling tech using the same razer kishi v2 controller you can already buy separately and use with your existing phone.

I have no idea why this exists, and why they think it can compete with the switch and steam deck at that price lol

Problem is though, as with any EA game I'll wait for it to come to EA play. I love Hot Pursuit 2010, but I still waited for the remaster to come to game pass rather than run out and buy it.

Not sure of the point of this. If it doesn't run anything native, then its just yet another device to cloud stream game pass to. Every android and iphone can do this with a controller, every knock off android emulation handheld with a wifi chip can do this, every one of the steam deck wannabes running windows can do this no matter their spec, and the steam deck can do this.

What does a dedicated handheld that can run gamepass streaming (and thats all as far as we know) offer that so many other devices out there do not?

I get when games arrive too late to be eligible for GOTY, thats what I suspected happened here like smash bros and jedi fallen order in 2019. But then shouldnt it be excluded from all categories and be up for nomination for all categories next year? How have the nomination groups played enough to nominate for racing game of the year and audio design but not overall game of the year. It seems really suspect that its not eligible for the main goty but valid for other categories.

was real disappointed when Moving Out left game pass. Was loving playing that with my SO. Took up overcooked 2 instead but now we can continue where we left off with Moving Out again

Every time this or the collection goes on sale, the UK price is way higher than the US price. Look at Mortal Kombat and Injustice 2 as well. Why do WB not understand conversion rates?

XP boosters wouldn't be a big deal...if they had been included from the start.

Instead Crystal released without XP boosters, said they wouldn't introduce XP boosters, decreased the XP gain across the whole game due to "balancing the game as players level up faster than intended" and then introduce XP boosters which allow players to earn at the rate they used to be able to earn for free. The way its been handled and delivered is the issue, not the fact that xp boosters exist

Lol - whoever posted that needs to stay off the eshop. Games on 3ds and Wii U are still full price all these years later from basically all publishers

I normally couldn't care less for achievements, but when they are given monetary value like this I'm all over them. Hit 10k by cheesing a lot of games like surviving mars, subnautica, the bethesda pc games, and doom 64

@torne Definitely looks like an error on the ps store, not the xbox store. Its £55 UK, $60 US, 60 Euro. Its a full price game everywhere, except the ps store in canada, I expect its a pricing error that Sony/THQ will fix soon

This sounds like its series X performance upgrade for the base xbox version (like jedi fallen order) rather than a native version (like crash 4 or what jedi fallen order is getting later this year), but native version is coming so should have an even better performing game on the way. nice!

@PhhhCough The collection has the knight season pass too. So its $15 for all of it, or 6+10 separate.

Thats not the issue I'm complaining about, its the regional price difference. collection is 75% off at $15 in US (default link) In UK the price is 67% off at £16.49, equivalent of $23 (and would be £22 to buy separately or $31)
