Re: Harmonix Waiting For The Right Time to Resurrect Rock Band on Xbox One

"Harmonix developed Rock Band 3 way back in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and [the Wii]"

Just a little addendum, lest we forget. In any case, I get that Harmonix has essentially gone indie again, but the accessibility of their products netted them so much money in the first place. Their Kinect-based games are undoubtedly the epitome of motion-based games, but something like Rock Band is something that has, and should always be, accessible to everyone. Rock doesn't discriminate. lol

@DRL It could be a bit of an exaggeration. People react differently to different stimuli and situations. First time I played this on my PS4 I found that the only time I was genuinely scared or startled was when something spontaneous happened.

Re: Karate Chop! Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 Rated in Australia

It may just be me, but I find myself confounded by the possibility of this game getting anything other than an E rating. Some of the ratings for these games should be a no-brainer based on marketing and word-of-mouth, but I suppose they're better safe than sorry if some subliminal content slips by...

Not sure what my whole point was, but whatever. lol

"The important thing for publishers and developers is to offer purchasable downloads that give the players the choice to enhance the game, rather than paying to patch or fill in gaps in an otherwise incomplete gaming experience."

I've yet to see any DLC from any publisher that actually enhances a game. The DLC for Dragon Age and Mass Effect have always been made to fill in the gaps for the storyline and the usual Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty DLC just adds more vanity for players in-game. I seldom critique things from the gaming industry with an extreme bias against it, but DLC just makes developers lazy and gives them an excuse to sell an incomplete game at full price and supplement their income with either gimmickier add-ons or vital points in a story.

So, like EternalDragonX said: Bite me, Ubisoft.
