Uh...the only games that are doing well in Japan are either MMOs, rhythm games, fighters and platformers - with only a small percentage of them actually being made by Nintendo. Sure, in the west shovelware runs rampant, but if you see the niche franchises in Japan that cater to hikkikomoris and older lechers...well, the shovelware pales in comparison.

Bobby has a lot of gall to praise his company so highly about new and innovative games. Destiny's not a bad game at all, but they've gotta do more than just FPS games.

Yeesh...I hope Konami decides to get back in the music game scene soon. If Harmonix is taking dancing and Activision is doing singing, Konami should do instrumental games a la Beatmania, GuitarFreaks and Drummania.

Used to love playing these kinds of games in arcades when I was growing up. I'd probably get it for the nostalgia...so long as there aren't obnoxiously strobing neon lights. lol

Hmm...if Microsoft has the mentality to unite gamers across multiple platforms, then maybe MS really is planning to resign themselves to a publisher position and just make games for future Nintendo and Sony consoles?

Okay, this just reignited my interest in AC. I'm hoping Chronicles is a standalone game, however. Like Liberation and Freedom Cry were.

@HEADESTROYER4 Actually, a hunger strike might not be a bad idea. I'd have to raise awareness for it, though. I'd have to wait until the ice bucket stuff blows over first, though. lol

@SuperKMx Indeed. Seems to me that gaming has entered its Dark Ages as trolls and social justice warriors are running rampant - ruining the experience for all of us who have been in the game for decades actually trying to make out hobby and/or lifestyle socially acceptable. I don't want to get all political about it, it'll just make me more depressed. Ha ha ha.

Believe me, I know exactly how you feel about that. Though, when I think about it from a superficial standpoint, the only thing separating the PS4 and XBO userbase is the hardware and servers that connect players to one another. If Square Enix could get PC, PS2, PS3, 360 and PS4 players to play on the same servers and at the same time with one another at the same time through FF XI and XIV, I'm sure EA could figure out the same thing. Activision as well.

I'm glad that the editors and writers from NintendoLife, PushSquare and PureXbox truly exercise console unity by playing on every platform possible.

In any case, I never finished Halo Reach and since I got it for free I figured I'd give it a try.

I just hope it's not a clone of ACII. I'd rather it have the intellectual stimulation that the first AC brought to the table. It certainly had a profound effect on my ideology after I played through it.

Already have my copy on the Wii U and from what I've seen, I don't think I'm missing much. lol

-Sigh- The online multiplayer this is really starting to annoy me. I'd rather do local/free co-op.

I've never really felt entitled to anything. As far as the next generation is concerned, the only game I've really been griping about was Kingdom Hearts III skipping the Wii U.

Given the history of the releases in the franchise, there have been an equal number of unique titles coming to both PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. I've been trying to make an effort to raise awareness and hopefully coerce Square Enix into bringing their games to ALL platforms, but I'm met with opposition everywhere and for literally NO GOOD REASON AT ALL.

I mean, for Pete's sake, I've even been a rabid supporter for a cross-platform brawler between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft franchises that would allow players ON ALL THREE NEXT-GEN SYSTEMS TO PLAY TOGETHER, but again, I was met with opposition from rabid fanboys and misinformed, obscenely biased buffoons who would give me flak for even suggesting such a thing.

I figure, if they're so intent on ignoring everything I say and just respond with redundant and outdated arguments against my ideas: I'll just ignore them in kind and find a way to reach others who would sympathize on a larger, more accessible scale.

Frankly, I'd rather wait for the Wii U version. I've gotten used to using the gamepad for its motion controls in MK8. lol

I'd get BF4 since I hadn't really tried it yet, but since it's on EA Access...

I seldom use Skype, but a few tweaks can make a world of difference.
