@VoidPunk They've alreadyt tried a similar approach with the Xbox 360. I don't know how big all of the dev teams where since some of the games were made by squenix and one fromsoftware squeezed in but the Xbox just cannot gain a foothold in Japan (Sony definitely has to have played a role in that though).
@gopher1369 This was what I was thinking as I looked at it... Made even funnier since I have the atom, like yep breaking new ground definitely. I wonder was that what razer said when they adopted the backbone design.
Personally I don't care if they have them on there or not, I originally got it to play the games I missed around the time it launched since I had nothing for the Xbox one when I got it a few months prior, but dark souls 3, Skyrim, and destiny. Now I've used it to play quite a bit of things I'd have never bought (like persona 3 since it was portable), wo long, my friend Pedro, Lego Star wars, both plague tale games, record of lodoss, atomic heart (didn't care for this one) and fallen order.
Can't forget about manearer, I had so much fun with that goofy game, I don't know why or that I even wanted a game that let you play as a shark, but there it was and I had a blast with it.
@StonyKL That tomb raider game didn't do well because it released with fallout 4 and call of duty and people were upset about the deal and then boycotted it once it was available to them because of that deal (ha the irony).
I know it's a bit of a stretch, but the only way I'd check this out, since I own a lot of those games, is if somehow Microsoft and Nintendo can work out another deal that would let us play Mario+rabbits since Ubisoft makes those.
@Lup Vampire Survivor is such a funny game. I purchased it on steam because I regularly compare the reviews on there and the Xbox store before I get something (since the eShop doesn't and Sony removed them altogether). I saw the game had over 150k reviews and the score was overwhelmingly positive, then I played for the first time on game pass and didn't even like it at first, I played a couple more times and it turned into a bit of an episode to see how crazy I could make things.
Currently playing through persona 4 in steam deck right now, would have oreffered to have gotten it for the Xbox if the games actually showed up in the coming soon section that I check every 2 days though.... Anyways it'll be nice all the more modern ones are available on all platforms jow though, the Xbox will just need strikers and that will be all of them. Now if only something could be done about the greater shin megami tensei games themselves.
@Claytonbob This happens to me an awful lot with game pass so I can definitely relate. Like I had just got shadow of the tomb raider right before it went on there, scarlet nexus, guardians of the Galaxy, and shredder's revenge for example, although I still would have paid for that one. I was about to buy the Skywalker saga yesterday since the deluxe is on sale, guess I'll wait now.
I'm still waiting for square enix to put all the 13s on sale again, I don't actually know why I hadn't gotten them the last couple times (it had to do with the PS era games not being in the store), but now that all of those including 10 and 12 are on there I want to get them all in one swoop, I've never played 12 or 13-2 and lightning returns and those last 2 are the only ones I still need.

Squenix has created their very own catch-22 here. Their rpg games don't sell well on Xbox because no squenix rpgs games to buy on Xbox when released.
