It's Xbox Game Pass time once again! We've got another small batch of titles joining the service today - including another Final Fantasy title - spanning console, PC and Android.
Here are the new games you can download with Xbox Game Pass today:
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (Console, PC)
The mega-hit RPG, FINAL FANTASY VIII returns! This Xbox One version features new graphical enhancements and a whole host of options to customise your gameplay experience.
Gonner2 (Console, Android)
In this sequel to Gonner: Journey your way through deep dark chaotic places with unimaginable sparks of colour as you go on a mission to help Death rid a mysterious presence from her lair. Battle crazy bosses, lose your head (a lot), in this messy, cute, fast-paced procedurally-generated platformer.
Streets of Rogue (PC)
Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. The game takes inspiration from fast-paced top-down rogue-lites and adds free-form, experimentation-driven, emergent gameplay elements of immersive sims and RPGs.

Final Fantasy VIII, perfect. A game club I'm a part of has chosen this game next. This will be my first mainline Final Fantasy game.
I've yet to finish a Final Fantasy game. I got to the last disk of FF VII and believe I was close to fighting Sephiroth but that was back on the original PlayStation. I believe i got pretty far on 9 as well but again my history of rarely finishing games got me. 8 was good as well but i never got far in it. I remember that you have time your attack to get that extra hit with the gunblade? I would like to finish them all for the story as i like then a lot in those games.
I'm still waiting for square enix to put all the 13s on sale again, I don't actually know why I hadn't gotten them the last couple times (it had to do with the PS era games not being in the store), but now that all of those including 10 and 12 are on there I want to get them all in one swoop, I've never played 12 or 13-2 and lightning returns and those last 2 are the only ones I still need.
Shame it’s VIII, AKA the game I’ve tried to play about 5 times and only made it a couple of discs into every single time. The mechanics are just kinda wack and in a series that includes Final Fantasy II, that’s saying something. Oh well, I’ll probably play it again through Game Pass and then abandon it on the big tank thing in the Missile Silo for the millionth time.
