I played it a lot, all the way to the end. I also went back a few saves to try some different endings. All in all, I was really hooked with the game. I also loved frostpunk on my series X, and can't wait to play frostpunk 2 in it as well.

I already played it when it was released on ps plus, but it is a great game. I definitely recommend this one.

Dredge is amazing, but I already played it on playstation plus.

I loved sniper elite 5, I'm glad I got to play it before it left GP

I already predownloaded it, I'll be playing this today and will try to juggle between this and south of midnight. I love games like this. I had a blast with Desperados 3 and shadow tactics. One game I'm hoping that it comes out on Gamepass is shadow of gambit, I played the two hour "demo" and liked it as well.

I think this is the next natural step in xbox evolution. Consoles have been getting closer and closer to PCs for a long time now, at least hardware wise. Long are the days of specialized CPU like the cell processor used in PS3 or Gamecube's IBM Risc.
Being able to play PC games without having to port them to xbox could potentially be a huge win, even more so if MS allows other stores like steam and epic (personally I'm rooting for GOG). Let's hope that MS doesn't screw this up

I don't recall any game from Blizzard that comes close to the fun I had while playing Zelda TOTK. Maybe the original starcraft, but that was what, 25 years ago?

i got stuck in a puzzle in botany manor and never returned, but it was a fun game while I was still invested in it.

First party: Forza horizon 5
Third party: Hades (while it was on GP)

Pass on the free dlc. I don't need any costumes, but I could have used a new mission on GP.

I had a blast playing through the campaign over the past week. I had never played a sniper elite game before, but if this one is similar to 5, which is also on GP, I know what I'm going to play next

I don't really play FPS games, as I get nauseated pretty easily, so I wasn't really looking forward to Avowed.

But I learned today that it seems to have a third person view, and just now that it will also support both 60fps and probably 40fps for 120hz tvs, so I'm definitely getting excited for this one now!

He can say evolution, but the fact is that when I read this, it gives me pause when I think about buying a game for my series X, especially titles that are not play anywhere.

Is there going to be a new console down the line? if there is, am I willing to buy one if all its games are available on PS? I don't know man, but probably not.

That's a no from me. I already played it when it was on gp a few years ago and find it baffling that they're putting it back as something "new".

it would be pretty funny if they created a sequel and made it for the switch 2 and ps5 only. It's the least MS deserves tbh.

well, if they created a third person view I would actually play the damn game. I can't with FPS games and for now this is just another game I'm missing out because of vertigo.

The enshittification continues with gamepass becoming more expensive and full of features I don't use and less games I'm interested in playing. Great job MS

I rushed to play Like a dragon gaiden when I heard that it was leaving GP and it was pretty fun! I ended up getting all 1000points in about 30 hours of gameplay. Still, it is a shame to see yakuza games leave Gamepass...

lol, I have Like a dragon gaiden installed in my console since it was released on gamepass, and when I decided to start playing I got a notification from MS saying that it is leaving the service on nov 15...Now I'm speeding thru the story to get at least that done before it leaves the service. Since the story seem to be shorter, I think I can make it.

I learnt about the first one because I kept being bombarded by ads from a pay to win phone game. Turns out that that game is a blatant copy of frostpunk, so I tried frostpunk on GP instead. Such a great game. Hopefully the second one comes in the first half of 2025, as my subscription ends in october/25 and I'm not sure if I'll renew it.

I feel like I am living in bizarro world. This month we have trains sim world5 on gamepass while PS plus gets The Plucky Squire day one.

Honestly, even if it was 500 I wouldn't buy it. At least watching it on youtube, the differences between the ps5 to ps5pro were negligible, if not indiscernible to my eyes. I much rather save A LOT of money and keep using my ps5 on performance mode, thank you very much.

man, i played frostpunk a while ago and that was a great game on xbox. Here's hope the second one gets ported soon rather than later (or never).

Here in Brazil, MS also raised the price of the series S by about 30% out of nowhere. They stopped selling the series X and physical media as well.
So I am disappointed but not surprised, to say the least.

when I first heard of xcloud i kinda liked it, but after trying it, I hate it. While I get it that they are working towards getting it better, I am not a fan of paying to be a beta tester.

I have a fiber connection at home and cabled console, but xcloud on it is super laggy, image quality varies a lot, and if I want to play say, around 6pm, good luck getting a spot. I pity the fool that buys this tv and thinks that they are getting a deal because they don't need a console to play.

I think I played a mafia game back in the ps2 days, but it was so long ago I don't remember anymore. I think there were some shakedowns involved, and i may be confusing it with another game, so I'll give it a try if it's released on GP

Senua saga2, Sea of stars and hades 2 when it comes out. I've been playing diablo 4 but i'm struggling to finish it (main story became too boring, sidequests feel the same).

The fact that I struggled to think of three games on gamepass that I would buy is the reason I'm strongly against renewing it when it runs out in about an year.
This year I already cancelled netflix and disney+ because of all the increases in price and the fact that I'm seeing a lot of old shows showing up as "new content" and gamepass will likely be next. I also still pay for HBO (or max or whatever you want to call it) but the reason I'm still on it is because they kept their prices ok where I live while still honouring their old contract (i still have 4k in the standard subscription). If that wasn't the case then I would have cancelled it as well.

At this point I don't even know anymore, but xbox really needs a W.

For me personally, CoD or gears 6 ain't it, so I don't know.

I am NOT paying more so that they can add CoD to gamepass. If they do that, once my subscription expires I am out.

@HonestHick While I agree that the switch is (and feels) underpowered now and for the past few years, I had way more fun playing zelda TOTK than any game on ps5 or xbox. Sure, the game struggled to run at 30fps and wasn't as pretty, but damn it was fun to build rafts and other gadgets to get through some of the puzzles in the game.

They want to keep raising prices while offering a crappier service and then are surprised that their numbers aren't going up. I am surprised that it is not going down tbh. I don't think MS understands that selling Tango may be one of those decisions that are a breaking point in a company (or a subdivision in this case). Everything seems to be going downhill from now on.
I was so hopeful for gamepass when I got my series X, but I am not amused with xbox right now, and will take my dollars elsewhere.

@BowsersBuddy I think the deal with Sony is that they have to keep CoD multiplatform for 10 years (so MS can't make it exclusive to xbox), but it doesn't dictate what MS does with CoD in their platform.

me personally I don't play CoD nor I have any interest in it, so if I have to pay more for it (while still lamenting the departure of tango gameworks) makes it even more bitter.

I subscribe to both GP ultimate and ps plus extra. When Sony annouced a price bump I made my mind to not renew it (and the rather mediocre line up doesn't help either).

Previously my plan was to sell the ps5 when my PS Plus ends and stick to xbox, but that plan seems to be evaporating quickly. I might need to start saving to actually buy a PC instead.

@BowsersBuddy it still works, but you get a conversion rate of 2 to 3. (if you buy 3 years of gamepass core, you can convert it to 2 years of gp ultimate).

Of all the stupid decisions made by the Xbox division in recent years (and there were many) this take the cake.

I hope someone gets all the talent from Tango Software (or they work together to become an indie developer). And then work on a a kick ass game for the ps5.

kinda like Frost Giant Studios, who is basically comprised of former blizzard employees and are about to release a RTS on their own.

Personally, I would prefer the option of a higher end home console, because that's what I play the most. I have a switch but I play it docked something like 95% of the time. I also have a ps5 but I don't care for a PS portal (LOL).

But I can see the appeal of launching a portable console. It's where "the youth" play, and they are a huge demographic that generally speaking, mostly play either Nintendo or mobile games.

If it's a supplementary system, i might even buy it, but if it becomes the main console, I might just stick with whatever Sony releases (sad, I know) or just go back to PC (which I have been considering but also dreading because I'm lazy and don't want to bother with building/maintaining one).

I was bummed that mimimi games shutdown, because I love their style of games. Having said that, I'm very looking forward to play Commandos:Origins. And Phil, please bring shadow gambit to GP, that would be great

@Old_Man_Harper huh, I actually gave it a try, and was pleased that they have several options to "optimize" the game for sensitive folks like me". I played a bit (got the first flower puzzle) and I am fine. thanks for the heads up!

I just wish for more great games. Best game I played last year was Zelda TOTK. There's almost nothing different graphic wise from BOTW, but the game mechanics were chef's kiss.
My major disappointment with starfield wasn't that it was 30fps, but that it was a boring game.
Having said that, while it's nowhere near Zelda levels of fun, I'm enjoying diablo 4. I hope they can bring more great games now that they finished the acquisition of ABK.

I played just a bit. However I was surprised when I entered the shop. Does every game needs to be a goddamn casino nowadays? This is exactly the crap that got me off from NBA 2kwhatever.
I'll continue playing the story in single player, but that's it.

I hate that the only basketball game left became so full of distractions that you have to really dig deep and ignore A LOT of stupid stuff to actually play the game. No, I don't want a GTA like career mode inside my basketball game. No, I also don't want to design a shoe, much less spend real money on fake currency.

I already can no longer buy any new physical xbox games in Brazil.
I wanted to play street fighter 6, and had to buy it for the PS5. I wanted the xbox version, but i simply couldn't because it was not released down here on the stores. :/
