This looks a bit like Gauntlet, which I really loved on my Spectrum back in the day. May give this a go if the price is right.

I will be playing a bit of Halo with my brother tomorrow night and trying to fit in Alien on the One and probably a bit of Dark Souls to try and beat the dragon on the painted world.

@Anthinator I'm too chicken to try and spend $40 without knowing for definite if it'll work. If anyone has previous experience of buying from the US store from the UK I'll give it a shot

Had a go on Lego batman 3 with my son and I, as the rational 39 year old adult, rage quit! Lego games aren't supposed to be this hard and confusing are they?

TBH the Evolve alpha didn't really ring my bell and I have no interest in the 8 bit revival. If I wanted to play old looking games, I'll brake out my Spectrum or Amiga.

This is a great game (even more so, since I got myself a set of headphones) but I have yet to play any of the DLC as I still haven't finished the campaign. I got the season pass in the black friday sale so I just need to get a move on!

@BAMozzy Does that work then? I have the same issue as you and it is especially obvious in online play with headphones connected.

Any ideas on UK pricing?

Just shown my son this and he nearly wet himself. He's a massive superhero fan so I think avengers will be a day one on the One.

I've got tomorrow night on the xbox as my wife is out for the evening, not sure if I'll go multiplayer or solo. If I choose mp, I may give titanfall or PvZ a whirl or solo shadow of mordor or alien ir one of the hundreds of other games in my backlog!

I will be having some Halo 4 co op with my bro tomorrow night and if I get the chance I'll continue on my journey into Mordor.

@SuperKMx What about ODST on the 360 or One if it's out then? I played through the campaign in co op on normal in about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

Was there any info regarding Windows Phones? I have a Lumia 920 (which is due to be replaced shortly) and I would like to stay Windows for the future.

I think I might get XCOM Enemy Within but not sure as I have a massive backlog which just keeps getting bigger with every sale that's announced

@Souldin I got mine for about £52 from amazon and I think it's just something as an Xbox One owner that we'll have to live with.

I'm going to have a bit of time in mordor and possibly dark souls.

@souldin Get yourself a USB3 external hard drive, I got a 2tb one at Christmas and that has solved all my storage needs. My drive was about 90% now it sits at about 20%.

@stylon It must have been because I edited the post and added the tags after the original. It does look like an enjoyable game, although it's not as polished feeling as Splinter Cell, but hey for £10, I don't think you can go wrong.

Reminds me of Rayman on my mobile. I don't think this sort of game is suited to console, I think it is more a mobile/tablet type game.

I gave it a go and I was right with the Splinter Cell comparison. It is a decent game and I only played for about half hour as I want to crack on with Shadow of Mordor. For a tenner it's a good game. I think I've only done some of the tutorial so far as there seemed to be a lot of waypoint markers.

I should hopefully give this a go tonight, so I'll post my thoughts later.

@headestroyer4 as soon as I get some Xbox time, I'll give it a go and let you know my thoughts. It looks like a fantasy Splinter Cell, so I'm quite looking forward to giving it a go.

I'm getting Styx after I post this, I've been waiting for the price to go down. Another added to my backlog.

@stylon Me too, spent far too much money on games that it'll take me, probably, years to play judging by my back log. First world problems right there

I picked the season pass up before Christmas and it was the same half price here in the UK. I think it was Black Friday or MS' run up to the New Year promotion.

I think I'll probably go with the $99 edition. there is no way that I'll part with $250 for a statue.

I got Shadow of Mordor of my wife so had a couple of hours on it last night. I would say it looks promising and quite similar to the Batman games but LOTR setting and that is no bad thing.

Just got myself the Alien season pass as I already have the game.

I thought ODST only came alive on Legendary, there just wasn't enough enemies and it was far too easy. I also found the pacing slow for a Halo game but for free I'll give it another go.

Alien, Dark Souls, AC Black Flag, may even try my copy of The Crew. I might give MCC a blast too. So many games, so little time! Oh, the curse of child filled, adult life.

I think that vr will be like 3D and just fizzle out after a relatively short time. I can't see it being anything more than a niche product at best.

I'm hyped for Halo, Batman, Star Wars and Quantum Break. 2015 is going to be a great year for gaming!!

I've not played the first yet, although I believe that will change next week after Santa visits

I think I might get RISK and Tetris in the future. I would be interested to see more on Battle Academy and Kalimba.

I've just got the Mordor season pass as I believe Santa is bringing me the game next week and if the tight git doesn't then come boxing day my local game emporium will be getting a bit of business.

All it is is the HDMI, power and internet cables. You'll have to do the AV yourself anyway. Mine is through my hi-fi, so I've 'only' got stereo (with a sub).

I've just upgraded over the weekend to the "Big Kahuna" bundle which is the top TV package with a Tivo 1tb box, unlimited landline calls and 150 ish broadband. We did have Sky but binned them off as the on demand was rubbish.

I pay Virgin approx £70 for TV, broadband and house phone. We also have Netflix and Amazon for about £6 each.

I would say that I have had valve out of my Gold membership. I would not have bought most of the "free" games and I haven't had time to play a lot of them but they are there ready for me. I don't have a PS of any type so what they do doesn't bother me at all. I was paying for Live long before they introduced the scheme and I was happy with the service then too.

I'll be putting more time into Dark Souls and joining in the Worms games Sunday. I may even try my new AC Black Flag if I get the time.

@stylon Sounds like a good game and is now added to my ever growing list of games to get/play.

I think I'll probably pick up Lara at some point as I enjoyed the other one. It'll have to wait until it's on sale as I have so much other stuff to get through and the games just keep on coming. #firstworldproblems
