I've just beat the crystal mage and died on the scumbags up the hill from that fire.

I'll be continuing to try to get somewhere on DS3 like almost everyone else! My experience is improving the more time I spend in the world and get used to the systems.

@stylon I'm finding the game generally hard, I think it's to do with the faster movement speed. If you decide to dive in, hit me up and we can coop.

@stylon It is monstrously hard (more so than the other 2 IMO) but I'm getting sucked in (more so than I was at the start and especially since my coop buddy has rocked up).

@JaxonH Endurance is very important. You may be able to hit hard but if you can only hit 1 or 2 times it'll make the game really hard. I'm putting my souls in endurance, strength and dexterity for my melee build.

I'll be hopefully getting some Dark Souls 3 going. It seems to be proving a little harder than I was expecting compared to 1 & 2. May also try and get a bit more of Rise of the Tomb Raider and progress the campaign.

@DRL Great review Dave, I'll be spending many more hours with this. The faster movement is a little unnerving at first but I'm getting used to it now.

Playing some Dark Souls co op (leaving 2 for a while now) and may have a blast on Plague Inc. Next week its Dark Souls 3 that'll be getting a hammering!

TBH I don't like the look of any of the games listed, it may change in time.

For me its smashing more Dark Souls 2 to try and finish off my 3rd play through. Had some time on Plague Inc and a smidge of Halo 5. I think I'm at a standstill on Halo though as I can't seem to beat the penultimate level.

Try the twin blade or the black night great sword as that has fire in it too.

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi both my swords are maxed and I also have Havel's armour maxed. I have the Drangleic sword but I think its only +1 and I haven't used it since I got the twin blade as that rocks!

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi I'm going to give that sword a try and see what its like. I've got a rusted twin blade and a Zwiehander at the moment.

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi I'll be ordering DS3 next week when I get paid and I won't even have to leave my Xbox as I'm going digital. Its only about £6 more and I won't be selling it ever.
You must be very good at the game to be on your third play through solo. Even in co op I'm finding some parts a challenge.

@DRL I'm on my third run through and I'm currently at the second boss in the Iron Keep. I'm playing co op so I think it feels a little easier and we seem to progress faster.

@sorethumbed that would be great. I've found with DS2 that I arrange a time to play and me and my pal meet at a fire in my game, he puts his sign down and Bob's your uncle, co op!

I'll be trying to beat Halo 5 solo Legendary (currently on the penultimate misson) and cracking on with my 3rd play through of Dark Souls 2. Hopefully my pal will get his Dark Souls code for pre ordering 3 and we can co op the hell out of that too! Also picked up Plague Inc and having a great time trying to kill the world. Its much harder than I thought it would be.

I've never played any of these so I'm stacked up with an even bigger backlog!

I finished Dark Souls 2 for the second time last night and have started play through number 3! Really revved up for DS3 and replaying DS in co op with my DS2 buddy when it hits BC. Also had a bit on Ori definitive edition and I'm about half way through. Being able to reply things like the Ginso tree is a big plus. Somehow I managed to beat that tree first time! It took about 20 attempts last time.

Played more Dark Souls 2 and am almost done for a second time. I will try and get a bit more Halo 5 in and some Ori as I got the upgraded version today for a mere £4.

For me, I tend to read all the articles even if I have no initial interest in the game its about as, as the articles are intended, I may become interested. I would like to see more AAA stuff on the site and it would be nice if more people commented on the forums. I visit the site and forums several times a day and I also should participate more in the article and forum comments. I very much enjoy reading the lengthy posts from some of the members and the back and forth that occurs. @SuperKMx keep up the quality output and I've really enjoyed your two opinion pieces, please do more!

Same as last weekend for me, which is to say, co op on Dark Souls 2. From memory, I think I'm nearly finished it again and I think I'll start NG++ when I'm done. I may load up Batman to try and get some more of the Riddler trophies or crack on with my solo Legendary run of Halo 5.

If the upgrade price is sensible, I'll give this another go as I enjoyed it first time.

Like the guys above have said, I will not be upgrading every 5 minutes. I have no desire to go down the PC upgrade route so would not be interested in getting the next One if this is the route MS are taking.

@DRL @A_Baby_Red_Yoshi I recommend you get (if you haven't already) a rusted iron twin blade and get it to +10, that is a killer weapon! Use RB to hit and you can kill the enemies in short order.

@A_Baby_Red_Yoshi good luck with Dark Souls, it is, as is advertised, a very hard game but so rewarding when you accomplish things in it. A tip, summon the NPCs if you are playing solo, but be careful as the more you summon the harder it gets!

@DRL to be honest Dave, I'm on NG+ and am playing with a guy who is like a Dark Souls ninja and he is making it relatively easy and more enjoyable. I am enjoying getting my character high level and smashing the weak enemies!

For me it'll be co oping Dark Souls 2 tomorrow night and getting the last two achievements on Child of Light to 100% my second game.

I'll be downloading all of these. I have Lords of the Fallen on disc but I'll be selling that on. Looks like some interesting games coming.

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi No, like @Utena-mobile said co op is a bit difficult. The guy I play with has about 300 hours on the game so knows how it all works, as he puts his sign in my game so we can play together. There is no traditional co op and you also have to be in a particular range on the amount of souls you both have. Oh and you need to be in human form to summon other players and NPCs. Be aware, the more players and NPCs you summon the tougher the bosses are!

I'll be doing a bit more Dark Souls 2 co op and I think I'll spend some more time on Child of Light and perhaps Batman or Halo 5.

I'm sinking more time into Dark Souls 2 with a co op buddy to try and beat it on NG+.

I'll be continuing my co op run through of Dark Souls 2 in NG+, currently in Huntsman's Copse so I'm only a short way in.

For me, I'm looking forward to Dark Souls 3, Crackdown and Gears. Quantum Break looks interesting as does ReCore. None of these will be pre orders due to time available to play and the price of new releases.

Starting NG+ on Dark Souls 2 with a co op buddy. I've got 110 hours on normal so I expect a similar amount for the next play through. Currently sitting at level 180.

@Gamer83 Is it ok to add you on Live? My GT is Crippy D I'm the same as you, I don't really play online as I'm not very good and with a wife and kids, I don't get too much chance to get better.

I've got Gears and Styx but I'll certainly download the other two to see what they are like.

I'm not sure this weekend. I may try and finish up the Riddler trophies in Arkham Knight or Tomb Raider collectables or have a bit more on Halo on my Legendary Solo run. Also been spending some hours on Defense Grid 2 so I might try and get the last few achievements on that.

I am currently playing Tomb Raider definitive edition and Halo 5, Halo:MCC, Batman, Dark Souls 2, Forza 5 + 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider and many more! I think of the list, I will give the time to Tomb Raider DE, Halo 5 and Forza 5 with a smattering of DS2 if my co op buddy shows up.

I'm in for more Dark Souls 2 action. Absolutely monstering it!

Dark Souls 2! Really enjoying myself on this and I'm about 2/3 way through. Great game.

I'm trying to make headway with Dark Souls 2 on the One and if I get the chance I may go back to continue my Legendary run through of Halo 5.

I'm currently trying to finish up about a billion games (no exaggeration!!) and I would like to reply a couple more for some rogue achievements (like Alien Isolation). I think I'll spend some time with DS2, Halo MCC, Halo 5, Gears of War, Tomb Raider and many others.

I've got a rare night of Xbox tonight, so I think I'll hit up some 18 rated games. Probably along the lines of Tomb Raider or Gears. I may continue my solo Legendary of Halo 5. See what the mood takes when I fire it up!
