Wow, I thought this was going to launch with a 30fps cap, which would've kept me away from its first-person mode due to motion sickness - finding out that it runs at 60fps is a dream come true! Going to play ASAP.
I was one of the people who had problems with this. Had to stop playing after the prologue. Hope they fix it at some point, but I'm ultimately glad that the game's available via BC for folks who aren't as sensitive to this issue.
Looking forward to trying out Visage. There's also a minor typo here - it should read "The Procession to Calvary" rather than the "Cavalry"; sorry to be pedantic but I figured you might want to know!
This game looks great and the early reviews are promising. Haven't seen any covering how it plays on XSX, though, so I'm eagerly awaiting PureXbox's review!
It's worth noting that Ubisoft is known to have a toxic work culture in which more than 25% of employees report seeing or experiencing misconduct: https://www.theverge.com/2020/10/2/21499334/ubisoft-employees-workplace-misconduct-ceo-yves-guillemot-response. Please consider not buying their products new until they resolve this. (and PureXbox, I love you but it feels a little misguided to report on Ubisoft content without this important caveat)
We've gotten so many FPS Boost games so quickly that asking for more makes me feel a little greedy, but it really is one of the best parts of XSX/S. I'm still hoping for boosts to Dark Souls 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Sonic Generations, Divinity: OS2, Forza Horizon 3, Far Cry 2, and XCOM 2.
Not sure I understand the disappointment - Capcom has been working under pandemic conditions and showed what they said they'd show. Don't get me wrong: I'd love to have seen a Mega Man game or the rumored RE Revelations 3. It just fulfilled exactly what my expectations were based on what the studio had said ahead of time. E3 2021 was never going to be a huge thing due to the pandemic.
It's wild to me that MGS HD and MGS Rising regularly go on sale but Peace Walker HD hasn't since I picked up an Xbox in December. I wonder what determines these things.
This one's a little bit of a bummer for me since my TV - like most standard TVs - only supports up to 60fps. I was hoping for some of the Assassin's Creed games, Dragon Age: Inquisition, or Dishonored 2 to get a boost. That said, this is a wonderful feature so it feels silly to criticize the choices. Glad Microsoft keeps doing this!

Re: Talking Point: Is There An Xbox Classic You Wish Was Backwards Compatible?
Dino Crisis 3 by a country mile. It's a bad game, but at least a very silly one.
