@Kilamanjaro So you have the G7 Pro wireless? or wired? I know it's both but there's a G7 Pro that is wired for Xbox, but I'm looking at the one in this article that is wireless for Xbox.
If you do have that wireless for Xbox, does it connect very well using the USB dongle? Any disconnections or does it behave just like a normal Xbox controller (instant feedback)?
@Kilamanjaro Same! I love the G7 HE. Been waiting for a wireless version and I'm really happy to see this as it seems even higher end. Their G7 HE is already leagues better than any Microsoft Xbox controllers.
@darylb24 - Ironic, in a way, because I bought Xenoblade Chronicles DE from someone yesterday here in the area, and he told me he's selling his Switch and games in order to game on his PS5. I asked him if he was getting the Switch 2 and he said he's really not sure due to its high price and lack of time.
The features of the PS5 controller are definitely better but not the sticks. I so wish the Xbox controllers would get a mic (on the controller) and motion control.
Xbox is great thanks to quick resume. I love it. I kept Lego 2K Drive and some other games in quick resume for a year while I played other games lol and revisited it last week, from the same spot where I paused and all works well.
Switch 1 is terrible and so slow so I won't talk about that. Switch 2 looks great but again, the UI is boring and makes me feel like it's a closed system (same as Switch 1), unlike the open Xbox system that feels like a computer, like I can do what I want, watch what I want, multimedia machine with Blu-ray/DVD.
@everynowandben Oh nice, I didn't think about using it on a PC but that sounds nice for games that work better with a stick. Let me know when you try on the Xbox.
I really like the Xbox system and software and how it's based on Windows (easy to use Windows apps on it) and hope they continue with it. Way better than the Switch's software (we'll see how the next Switch is though). Not sure about PS5's software as I never had one but it looks nice.
@Fragslayer Same thing Nintendo is doing with trying to phase out and hide Mii characters. Wii was spectacular with that. I don't know why they're removing those.
But maybe what @xboxjapanfan says is true. Their removal of genders and mixing characters and accessories together is pathetic, evil and makes no logical sense.
People in charge of large corporations always end up ruining everything, especially when they're bought.
@nomither6 - True. My daughter just played some Wii this morning. Lots of superb games waiting to be ported lol (Fishing Resort, MySims Agents, and a looot more).
They really started restricting a lot now, even though they make a lot of money and profit. It's a shame. Ever since the Switch came out and seeing the layout in games and the Switch, I started noticing and telling others how "corporate" it feels. Never saw such layouts in Mario Party and other games like the Switch's versions. They looked so corporate-like. Things I saw while working in the government here in Canada in the past. And, some of the sounds, like "You got a star" felt like an announcement at an airport.
Nintendo went from playful and happy to serious and corporate-like.
@nomither6 I have the same thoughts. The Nintendo Switch is so barren compared to the Wii U and I've used that sentence before as well numerous times . The Wii U was a superior machine in almost every way, from comfort of using the pad to the amount of features it has (camera, stylus, etc.) to the home screen, music, and software. The Switch only has very few benefits over it.
I liked using it also, my daughter as well. Microsoft is become like Google, where it starts projects, gives us nice things, then removes them out of nowhere. Boy do I hate that practice. Thus why I don't use almost any Google product but Xbox/Microsoft is doing the same now with a few things. I don't trust any of them anymore.
I was using the Grounded one for 2 years. Finally switched to the World Of Warships one. Still really like the Grounded one and hope it remains forever.
Never played WOW though. But, Everspace 2 was an awesome game. I'll check out its background later.
@TJ81 - Same. Next Xbox should launch with an RTX 4080 level of performance in order to properly game in 4K. It's still impressive as it is now considering that it's not using a card that is as good as even an RTX 3070, yet works with 4K.
And, hopefully they give us a motion controls for those games that don't support mouse+keyboard =(.
I'm forced to play this on my laptop instead thanks to Game Pass.
I don't understand why they stopped Xbox 360 and such games from appearing in Games With Gold. It's really a shame as that era had great games as well.
@grumpypotato - I cannot understand bad reviews for Super Lucky's Tale. It's a superb, fun game that is replayable. Can't wait to play the New Super Lucky's Tale (bought it a while ago before getting Game Pass. It's still worth buying). I feel bad reviews for that game are fake.

All 3 Tomb Raider games are spectacular and very fun. The last one, Shadow, has lots of tombs and such with less combat. Still a great game.
