Re: Sony Announces Major PS5 Price Hikes, Here's How They Compare To Xbox Series X|S

NCGhostOfLOWERD

@Balaam_ most that don't have the current generation is just looking for GTA to play locally. That's all you need. It still has Quick Resume, It's a step up from last generation, it still has Game Pass, Still runs backwards compatibility, still uses smart delivery(in case they upgrade later), still can run games at 120fps, still has developer mode to extend that backwards compatibility, and still has games that are play anywhere(in case they decide to just get a PC later). There isn't really a down side because they're all overpriced underpowered tech at this point but it's the easiest way to get current and future proof that investment.

Re: Talking Point: Xbox GPU Members, What Do You Think Of 'Ubisoft+ Classics' So Far?

NCGhostOfLOWERD

I'm fine with it but I do own Farcry 6, Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, South Park, and even the Monopoly games. I was buying those and I wasn't a Fortnite player but my kids is. However, I use Cloud Gaming, PC Game Pass, and I main on the Series X with two different accounts so my Game Pass is paid until next year. I play the 1st party games. Activision and Xbox Game Studios are two of my favorite publishers along with WB(Nether Realm, Sega-Atlus, and Capcom so leaving Game Pass was never a option anyways. However, most gamers aren't me. That price needs to come down and day and date probably should be a part of Premium...and they should leave PC Game Pass alone, I can't stress that enough.

Re: Microsoft Issues Statement On Why 'This Is An Xbox' Campaign Has Been Retired

NCGhostOfLOWERD

@Tdx to be fair that's pretty much what This Is An Xbox sort of forced. If you were on the console or handheld you knew what it was. If you were on a PC or Windows OEM, you needed the Xbox app and like the store, Game Pass has its on tab. If you were on another device however, it required one of the three Essentials, Premium, or Ultimate tiers to make it work unless you were playing a free to play game you owned. If you used the app then it becomes apparent to access certain games you had to either buy it or subscribe to whatever tier the game was on. It was actually unnecessary to push because Cloud was a part of it not the other way around. That campaign was an easy way to identify which devices actually allowed access and no matter how you used it...if you were playing a game that wasn't free to play Game Pass was necessary. Even when you owned the game as long as you were using cloud which is a growing market.

Re: Xbox 'Stream Your Own Game' Titles: The Complete List So Far

NCGhostOfLOWERD

This list is definitely going in the right direction especially considering you have to have Game Pass Ultimate to use it. Once you add these into the games that offer cloud gaming on that service it becomes a power house of a cloud gaming subscription. That's after leveraging the games on the subscription service to keep people in it in the 1st place. Impressive strategy indeed.

Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Buying The 2025 Xbox Handheld From ASUS?

NCGhostOfLOWERD

Yes. The Xbox PC app has been rapidly improving and with Play Anywhere it's an appealing offer. Having the Xbox PC Storefront along with Steam, Epic, and GOG is the selling point for me. The dock is a no brainer. Then there's Game Pass Ultimate games running natively that once again is a great selling point. They've also been increasing the amount of Stream the games you own as well so that's a bonus. This is what I believe is part of the future of gaming. I'm day 1.

Re: Xbox Users Appear To Have Spotted More 'Nerfs' For Microsoft Rewards

NCGhostOfLOWERD

@Rangers420 They're behind in console sales but in gaming revenue and profit they're ahead of both PlayStation and Nintendo. User base wise and I suspect with Subscriptions they are beating both Sony and Nintendo as well. Those are the metrics that they care about and Xbox is well on its way to becoming a $600 billion brand if they haven't passed that point already. They're big players in the PC and mobile gaming market now as well. This is the strongest they've ever been.

Re: Poll: How Many Xbox Games Have You Actually Bought This Year?

NCGhostOfLOWERD

I bought over 16 that I can think of off the top of my head but I do have 4 kids and of course my fiance. Some were multiple copies across 6 boxes(Xbox one s, two Xbox one x's, two series s, one series x. 4 of those in my home. The series and one x. I did get one physical game for my fiance in just dance 22 which stays in the one x.
