I played the PS5 Pro version when it came to PS Plus a while a go and really enjoyed it so would recommend it to any horror fan the atmosphere is great.

So this is what people are paying 30 quid a month for hahahaha

Let's just say I take everything Todd Howard says with a grain of salt and after their last games being so underwhelming I'm just not excited but I will wait to see if they can recapture any of the magic they had decades ago

To be fair the news X Box gamers will not buy games won't suprise anyone. This is why companies avoid X box because they are not Interested in buying even highly reviewed games.

@Sol76 @Sol76 it's certainly a bad time for X Box with unprecedented console price increases, massive lay offs and cancellation of the true X Box handheld not the Rog which you can already play X Box and PlayStation games on and the cancellation of Forza Motorsport it's just feels like nothing but bad news for team green these days 😭

@Kilamanjaro You have to joking right ? the cheapest one has similar specs to the three year old steam deck and that might sell for 500 or 600 but the far more powerful X 1tb version has better tech than the one they are already selling for 899 ! The X version ships with better chips, more storage and bigger battery so there is no way it will be only be a hundred more than the massively inferior version 🤣

Bethesda releasing a terrible game and hopping modders eventually make it worth playing

I'm not surprised Phil got nuked after being responsible for
nuking X Boxs reputation before taking down a studio that just made a highly rated award winning game Phil himself signed off on and famously described as having succeeded by every conceivable metric !!!! That sort of things doesn't exactly make people warm to you 🤣.

As I'm sure Phil himself would agree being in management doesn't make you immune from the consequences of your actions in fact it's totally the opposite and when you make as many terrible decisions as he has people are gonna be unhappy. A little nuke in a game is nothing compared to losing your job. Especially as he hardly plays the game and has put the absolute minimum possible effort into building his ✌️base✌️ which is consists of little more than one bed and a lamp 🛋️ . He also has an endless supply of the Bethesda micro transactions the game is riddled with so resources are not a problem and rebuilding his ✌️base✌️will take as little effort as he put into popping a bed on the floor in the first place.

Let's be serious here this isn't exactly a real tragedy like losing your livelihood and he will rebuild his little bed and lamp far quicker than the devs of the game that gave X Box nothing but very positive media attention when it needed it most will rebuild their shattered lives so please excuse me if I don't shed too many tears over Phil Spencers bed 😭

@BAMozzy @BAMozzy Every single current gen PlayStation 5 exclusive I have played and I've played have been 60fps at launch many were 60fps with raytracing and many with 120fps options available. This is obviously an X Box Series X and S exclusive issue as most exclusive I played on X Box were 30fps while being noticeably worse in every factor

I wonder if the PS5 Grears ports currently being worked on will inspire remasters. We all know X Box struggle to sell new games on console but PlayStation players do buy games and that would make a Gears of war remaster sustainable without the day one Gamepass launch and obviously future x box games are going to Playstation anyway so there is no reason not to do it.

I played this on PlayStation Extra a few months ago and really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone who misses more linear old school arcadey goodness instead of the usual collectathons and endless fetch quests. It's great mindless fun give it chance you might like it as much as I did 👍

I bought it on PS5 after seeing how horrible the performance is on series X with extremely muddy visuals. I would definitely advise anyone thinking of buying it on X Box to watch the Digital Foundry video before purchasing as it really isn't good right now and it's probably a good Idea to wait to see if they can fix the issues before pulling the trigger.

I 100% agree with digital foundry. Streaming on PlayStation is way ahead of X Box who reduce all their streamed games to Series S settings so the Series X can only stream games at 1080p/30fps while PS5 can steam 4K/60fps ! There is no excuse for Series X owners being forced to play inferior versions of their games that look horrible on a big TV especially when compared to 4k/60 being offered to PlayStation 5 owners !

Sony have been offering streaming for far longer than X Box have I get it but seriously anyone who has tried both knows the difference in quality is night and day both streamed through the console and through PlayStation remote play and to add insult to injury PlayStation also has a far larger library of streamable games too so I rarely use X Box to stream if I have the choice as it's really not good !

The most interesting part of the stream was when Phil was asked if Starfield and Indiana Joans would be going to Playstation after the initial 4 titles and he said they would remain exclusive. So that was then and we thought we knew exactly where we stood and then literally minutes later Phil spoke to a gaming journalist and said we are bringing games to other platforms and are definitely not ruling out any XBox titles being released on PlayStation INCLUDING Starfield and Indiana Jones ! So he answered a question and then directly contradicted himself. I'm actually quite impressed that it only took him 20 Minutes to make a complete 180 reversal of the statement X Box customers have waited 10 whole days for ! What an absolute farce 😂

It's become difficult to trust anything he says on this subject and even though I don't think he likes where X Box is heading it's painfully clear he'll just tell us whatever he thinks we want to hear and if it serves him he'll probably contradict everything he said a few minutes later anyway 😂

The saddest part of all is X Box admitting they are stopping selling physical discs of new Xbox games. I will be forced to buy 3rd party games on PlayStation because they are the only current gen console selling new releases on disc. The X Box vision for the future is clear and they decided us peasants will own nothing and be happy about it in their disc less subscription service based X Box nightmare and I hate it 😭
