Fallout Day 2025 is now all wrapped up, with the team at Bethesda announcing Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition and an Xbox Series X|S upgrade for Fallout 76, among other and pieces. However, before signing off, Bethesda Game Studios head Todd Howard just couldn't resist teasing what's next for the Fallout franchise in the coming years.

In a closing message as part of the team's Fallout Day livestream, Howard said that he and the team are always listening and reading what the Fallout fans want - going on to tease that the studio is "working on even more" beyond what was announced during this week's Fallout celebration. We've timestamped this message in the video up above, and here's what the Fallout boss had to say about what's next:

"Hey, we read it all [your comments] - just know, we are working on even more. We're looking forward to the day where we can share that with everybody. But, thank you again for tuning in, and happy Fallout Day!"

It's pretty safe to assume that Howard is teasing Fallout 5 here in some fashion - especially after how popular the franchise has become since the mega-successful Amazon Prime TV show. Frequent fan requests also shout to the rooftops about a Fallout New Vegas remaster of some sort — even from famous actor Danny Trejo — so there's every chance something like that is being teased too.

However, the only real project that we have some sort of evidence for is a potential Fallout 3 remaster. The team hasn't officially announced such a project yet, but it was a part of that massive Bethesda leak from a few years back - the same one that included Oblivion Remastered which of course turned out to be true. We'll have to wait and see if Fallout 3 follows in those footsteps, and of course, Bethesda Game Studios is also working away on The Elder Scrolls 6 right now; as announced all the way back in 2018.
