Not interested in it myself as preferred the original style of God of War games. Will wait and play it when it's on PS+.

PS+ Essential is loads better and had Crash Bandicoot 4 + Man of Medan this month. Gold always offers rubbish and is very poor I only have it as it comes with Game Pass or wouldn't even bother with it.

@Skedaddle Forza Hot wheels is not a new game only DLC. Plenty of people do not like Dusk Falls and Stray on PS+ has been much better received.

Pentiment is low budget rubbish and not up to Obsidian's normal standard. Everyone was rushing to play CrossfireX I think not as it's another buggy mess of a game. The servers will be shut down soon as nobody plays it.

The rest that you mention are not console seller's and many don't even have a release date. This article was about console sales and I'm pointing out Xbox has no big exclusives for the rest of the year. They have only survived due to Game Pass and nothing else.

I think it's funny how people will defend corporations like their you're friend. Fact is it's been absolute rubbish from Xbox this year. The competition is doing much better.

Sales for Xbox are stalling due to poor management of it's game studios. Consumers are not stupid and will know that they have nothing this year which directly affects sales.

Also for your information PS5 has sold more overall but Xbox has done better than the dire One era.

@fizban3332 I'm no fanboy for any console I have Xbox series X, PS5 and PC. Each has their benefits and negatives but some of us gamers like to have a choice.

@Skedaddle It does but they are not games that people can't get on Sony except Forza. Some others you mention are not out this year Contraband etc and nobody knows what happened to Goldeneye.

It's the exclusive games that ultimately sell consoles. Hopefully next year Xbox can finally deliver what they have been promising for years.

There's now plenty of unsold stock in the UK and think sales will be coming to a standstill.

It's simply down to the lack of any big exclusive games this year after the Starfield delay. Only Game Pass has saved them, they would be finished without it. Consumers don't trust in Microsoft delivering on first party games after broken promises and excuses year after year.

PS5 will sell more depending if they can get stock out. Sony has God of War Ragnarok coming out and always has a steady first party lineup. They never go a whole year without a big exclusive.

Not bothered as honestly from the gameplay showed looked average at best.

They already have Psychonauts and would love a third game. It was easily my game of the year.

It's much better than Ratchet and Clank: Rift apart.

Hopefully Toys for Bob can bring back the classics as they did great with Crash and Spyro. I can't see the deal not going through.

I wouldn't even look twice at a controller with a wire no matter how cheap. Still waiting patiently for the elite 3.

@Chaudy They make the weak excuse of not wanting to undercut retailers. The reality is it's just to increase profits and artificially keep prices higher, I presume.

Let's face it they seem to be pushing an all digital future where we will have no choice. I hope that day never comes as prices will never come down.

Loads of games never get a discount it's always the same stuff on rotation. Fed up with these so called sales and for a lot of them still cheaper to buy a used disc copy.

Hopefully it closes soon and we can actually get to playing the games on Game Pass.

@Brazenology Not really, as their are plenty of online retailers including the likes of Amazon/ebay. It's very convenient just having it posted.

I left Xbox after the disastrous One launch and just had a PS4. Lack of exclusive games was the main reason and not liking the direction Xbox was going.

I now decided to return to Xbox with the series X as I absolutely hated the PS ecosystem and Sony with anti consumer practices. Like no refund policy and increasing games prices.

Loving Game Pass that I get for free with rewards points and Sony simply can't compete with it. Although Xbox still needs to work on getting exclusive games out I'm confident due to buying studios. It seems like Microsoft is finally taking gaming seriously with heavy investment, should have happened years ago.

I just brought Far Cry 6 limited edition for 99p from the Amazon Prime sale.

It was £9.99 in the sale but had an offer that if you top up £80 in your Amazon account they give you £9 extra for free. I needed to get a year of Prime anyway.

I honestly thought it was really bad and bland, just a walking simulator with dialogue options. No actual gameplay.

I didn't like the politics and virtue signaling in the game either. You're character felt like a floating box as doesn't even have arms or legs.

Don't understand all the praise it gets at all but guess some people will like any rubbish, just because it's on Game Pass.

Microsoft can't even get normal games out on a regular basis they need to help their studios and fix the bad management.

Probably for the best that they haven't bothered with VR as it's a limited market. Like many people I can't use VR due to bad motion sickness.

343 are incompetent with Halo as it is so this wouldn't be great either. Microsoft should have brought Bungie when they had the chance.

GreedFall is NOT a pirate game lol. It's easily Assassin's Creed: Black Flag for me loved the sea shanties. Nice open world to explore, great combat on both land and sea.

A shame that Skull & Bones seems like trash but Ubisoft only interested in micro transactions these days.

I'm now starting F.E.A.R 3 after liking the last two, hopefully the trilogy ends well. I have decided it will be my last ever 360 game.

Most 360 games look blurry and very dated now. It was fun while it lasted but ready to focus on newer games.

Tried Matchpoint Tennis but really isn't very good and agree it's far too easy so gets very boring after a couple of matches. Hopefully Top Spin makes a return one day.

People did actually pay for the game on Xbox it certainly wasn't free. It was exactly the same price as on PS, so yes players deserved the same support on Xbox.

The game wasn't that good so it's the developer that will loose out on future sales on Xbox. Not bothered as plenty of other games that get the same support across multiple platforms.

They still made big profits from the old standard pricing and gaming has many more player's than years ago.

@phoenix1 Microsoft enforced it so that it plays best on Xbox.

They also did a series X update for Hellblade that wasn't made available for the PS5.

Guess it makes sense considering that the studios are owned by them and will be exclusive from now on.

Paying £70 will be like being robbed by pirates. This will be heavily reduced in a few months after release like all Ubisoft games.

Warning people not to bother with the Terminator games on Xbox as the developer didn't support it very well.

Where as on PS it got a current gen update and expansion. Not worth paying the same for less or risk of abandonment.

A bit late should have done this when the game actually came out.

Can't see them selling many copies as most people have already played it on Game Pass.

Many publishers preference is now on doing their own online events. Why would they waste loads of money when they can do it themselves.

It's a shadow of what it used to be and think this will be the last chance before finally being put out of it's misery.

Game Pass really makes me hesitant to buy any games at all. Might just buy the odd AAA game that I know won't go on Game Pass.
